"We had a delay out of our control and our flight was canceled. I called to let them know what was going on and they were not able to accommodate. They instead said we would have to change the reservation for the next day and be charged for what that room would cost if I was booking that day which was much more. They told us they couldn’t do anything because we booked it through a third party site. We were extremely stressed with the flight and it was out of our control and it was extremely disappointing how inhospitable they were to us. "

"Staff was nice. Don't know why they gave us a handicapped room, didn't request one. Room was very humid, fogged my glasses. TV was tiny given the distance from bed. Floor sloped, so much so that the luggage cart started rolling away unless a towel blocked a wheel. Lastly, HGI nickel and dimes you for every little thing. This was not a resort hotel yet charged like one."

"Host was very friendly and kind. His wife Made us Guava pastries, which were delicious. Communication was excellent and this cottage was so charming. The view was spectacular looking out to the lake. Will definitely come back. Thank you."
