We booked 2 rooms here, the gentleman at the front desk called to check on our whereabouts because he leaves the office at 10. When we arrived and picked up our keys, one of the door locks was broken. The room we did get into, was not the cleanest. It's an older hotel. What gets this hotel the 5 stars is the staff. We called the after hours number and they got us checked into another hotel for the evening. They were responsive and immediately took care of us.

Great staff, so accommodating! Our room was nice, but inconvenient for an older couple walking up and down to the 3rd floor. Great view and close walking distance to dining and shopping.

This really was just a place to sleep. It was kind of tucked in the corner of keystone so everything was wakable and it was a quick drive to mount rushmore. The parking lot is small and I was worried when I came back from Mount Rushmore that I wouldn't get a spot to park.I got the last space available. The the outside of the building looked like it could use a little work and the lobby didn't open until eight am. They didn't serve breakfast or have anything like that available.

The staff was welcoming. Advertised a continental breakfast but notified at the last minute that was cancelled. They did have a coffee Machine in the lobby but didn’t open the doors till 8am. No microwave or hair dryer in the rooms. It was very convenient to get to Mt Rushmore.

If you are looking for the Hilton stay else where. Very tidy place to stay next to the main street and not even a 30 second walk to shops and dinner options. Beds were firm but comfortable. Only strange thing was no hair dryer but if thats the worse thing i could find its nothing. Front staff was lovely. No frills place to stay that passed our test.

Upon check-in, when we got to the room we noticed no fitted sheets on the bed. We went to the desk and the gal said she would get them on while we went to dinner. That didn't happen. The next day went to the desk again expressed our concern and the gal said it would be done today. When got back still no sheets, just mattress pad.
