"Was disappointed that the garbage wasn't emptyed or the floors swept, the cofee cups and machine was dirty, no remote for TV and no toliet paper, had to use facial tissues. The views from outside was nice tho. I did tell the Lodge front desk. However I heard that the Jeep Invasion was nice ( I am a member of 1 Jeep group JGMCVA) . The food was great in the restaurant!"

"I have previously stayed at this location when it was operated as a bed and breakfast, this time it is only a lodging spot with complimentary drinks which was conveyed in the listing. The home is lovely and easily located in Orange, with quick access to many historical areas. While the Fenton is listed as having a bathroom, which it does, it is a tiny water closet at best. There is no standard size mirror or sink, the shower is also quite small. Overall, our stay was fine, but I did not like the...

"Our 50th class reunion was held at Lydia Mountain lodge. The setting, accommodations, and service were all superior. The views are amazing from the back decks! Our room, Grandma's Kitchen, was cozy and comfortable. Kudos to the staff who oversaw our meals and reunion functions!"
