Sanctuary of comfort and beauty

Everything was superb. We stayed with our dogs who were treated as family. The house was a welcoming oasis, and Amanda was a fabulous host, friendly and kind, and respectful of our space. We totally relaxed.

Idyllic getaway - perfect for humans and dogs

Fully enclosed paddocks for our dog to explore, an arrival hamper, breakfast provisions, and much more; Amanda is such a thoughtful host. Summer or winter, this would be a great retreat. With dog-friendly pubs, wineries, and breweries within 10-30 mins, we really enjoyed our stay. The weather was a bit warm for exploring the tracks with the dog, but we will do that next time we visit.

Beautiful break for the human and fur family

We had such a lovely stay! Amanda was an amazing host to us and our fur family. Everything you could ever need was there ready for us including a beautiful hamper of local and homemade goodies. Such a serene beautiful place to stay but not too far from Adelaide. Highly recommended and would love to stay again.

Well needed relax

We can not give Amanda and her four legged friends a big enough gold star.Will definitely return when we can.Freshly squeezed orange juice, and home baked bread, just to name a few things in the provided goodies.

Relaxing getaway

Very well set up. Clean, modern and roomy. Our dog Marla loved the yards she could explore and she was very safe. We all enjoyed our welcome treats. Highly recommend this stay

Refreshing and peaceful

Our dog loved staying here so much she would move between our and Amanda's properties like she has been living there for months. We really enjoyed our stay- the full pantry and fridge, the warm fireplace when we arrived, the comfortable and new bedding. It didn't feel like a short term stay, but somewhere we could live long term.

Great place to stay

Amanda is a great host. My family of 4 has a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. She provide her personal touch by making a loaf of bread and apricot loaf. Her fridge was stock with various beverages and milk as well a bottle of wine. Bacon and sausage were provided for breakfast. We get to pat the horse, donkey and dogs. Thank you Amanda.

Absolutely delighted with my recent stay at Amanda's Country Retreat! From the cozy vibes to the stunning surroundings, it was everything we needed and more.
