About this property

Cozy cottage nestled in the woods near WILLSTELLA Farm Venue

  • Cute two-bedroom cottage nestled in the woods beside a beautiful romantic wedding venue! Sleeps 4 comfortable but can supply you with a blow-up bed on legs if we know prior to check in for an additional $40. There is a couch in the sunroom off of the master bedroom that would be suitable for younger adults. House has an open den with gas logs in the fireplace! Nice wrap-around deck overlooking the wooded lot. You are close to downtown but feel like you are way out in the country once you get settled into this cozy cottage.

We loved our stay at Vanstella Cottage. Angie is a great host and the attention to details she put into the house really shows. Outside, we really enjoyed the large deck and the ping pong table. Inside, we enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, the super comfortable beds, the large selection of books and games, and the sound system. The cottage had the feel of being in the mountains while being very close to downtown Kernersville and Winston-Salem. Highly recommended!

Our host Angie was great. Amenities were unbelievable. The outside deck had lots of furniture and provided both sun and shade and a heater! The beds were incredibly comfortable and plush. The sun room was a surprise bonus. Beautifully stocked kitchen items including coffee, etc. Bathrooms stocked with every basic need and extras. Deer and squirrel and birds entertained us on the deck. Highly recommended. Thank you Angie!

This property was wonderful! It was clean, comfortable, cozy and had everything you could possibly need from the kitchen, to the bathrooms to any personalitem you may have forgotten. The house was decorated so uniquely and every time I looked around I saw something I hadn’t seen before. We loved looking at all the books on display. I wanted to read them all! The view from the deck and sunroom was amazing! Angie is an amazing host. So kind and concerned for our comfort. She checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. We contacted her once about an issue and she was there to correct it within 5 minutes! She is a 10 out of 10. I felt like I was in the hideaway/ summer home of a famous author or artist. We loved this property! Not even one complaint!! Everything was above expectations!! We were visiting our daughter who lives in Greensboro and it was very convenient to the area she lives in. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to our next visit! Thanks for a great stay!

Cozy cottage - excellent location!

Spent the Memorial Day weekend at this property due to it's ideal location between Greensboro and Winston-Salem. Perfect set-up for two adults as we alternated between hiking and visiting each city. Well stocked, clean, and comfortable - especially that king size bed! Host was responsive and hospitable - looking forward to a return trip the next time we are in the area!

Relaxing in the country

I wish I'd had more time to explore the area. The home is just beautiful and the decor is exceptional. Plenty of things to read, games to play, television, wi-fi, the works! Lots of seating and the master bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get up. Great adult atmosphere.

Loved it!

My sister and I lived this place! It was clean, decorated so beautifully, it was super cozy and just felt like home. The beds were fantastic; probably thepst comfortable beds we've slept on from anywhere else. If we're back in that area, we will definitely stay there again! Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a nice, cozy place to stay!

Wonderful Stay

Clean, well-stocked, and comfy beds and seating. The best part is the sunroom off the master bedroom. You feel like you're sipping tea in the tree tops. It's quiet, and you feel like you are away from it all, but your just 10 to 20 minutes from anything you could need. Had a very relaxing weekend. Thank you!

So charming!

This was the perfect little home for our trip. We enjoyed all the antiques throughout the home! The music playing when we entered was a nice touch and my son enjoyed the record player then whole weekend! Hoping to return when it’s warmer to enjoy the back deck and have my morning coffee out there.

This cottage couldn’t be more charming! The location was absolutely perfect for us while attending a show at the Benton Convention Center—just minutes away, yet it truly felt like a peaceful retreat in the country. We were only about five minutes from great dining and shopping in Kernersville, which made everything so convenient. The décor is gorgeous and thoughtfully done, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Even the college kids with us commented multiple times on how much they loved the house—which says a lot!The host has truly thought of everything. From welcoming touches throughout the home to helpful extras like curling irons, cologne, and even fingernail clippers, it felt like nothing was overlooked. The sunroom was a favorite spot—perfect for relaxing with one of the many books available in the house. On top of all that, the host was incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely return!

Nice property off a country road

We usually stay in a hotel near the Wake Forest campus but decided to switch it up this time. It was about a 15 minute drive to the campus. The wrap around back deck with plenty of seating and lighting is nice. Kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. We would stay here again.

This cottage was wonderful. My husband and college Sr. Daughter stayed here while she attended a music conference in Winston-Salem. It was about 15 minutes from the conference center. I was so glad I picked this property. It was super clean and extremely quiet. On Saturday night they had a wedding across the field. We could see all the lights which was a nice touch, and the guest were far enough away that they did not bother us one bit. I was not looking forward to a busy weekend of running my daughter around but this cottage help to make the weekend enjoyable. You will not be sorry if stay here.
