We really enjoyed our stay at Mealea. It’s located in beautiful tropical and peaceful gardens, surrounded by flowers, geckos and birds singing. Across the street is a place to sit and enjoy the most beautiful sunset over the water. It’s just a short walk to the market, the beach and restaurants. The staff is very attentive and accommodating with all your needs. If visiting Kep again, I would stay here again.

Excellent service and great location near the restaurant and the fish market You can order food at the hotel directrly from their restaurant menu They don't cook there but have a full Italian menu which will be delivered in 15-20 minutes. I recommend you to order from there as the price are the same as if you go to the restaurant. But there it will safe and you will be alone around the pool to enjoy your anti-pasti, pasta or pizza.... a bottle of wine from the hotel cost just 14 $ for example Friendly and warm hotel

Good location, very close to the Crab Market. The restaurante had no restaurant, and the breakfast was just OK. The hotel doenst have nothing special. Just a place to rest, and the staff didn't do anything to please us.

I enjoyed this stay very much. I staff were very responsive when my light bulbs needed changed and such. The garden and pool were well maintained. Plus, the crab market was within walking distance. The only issue I had was the breakfast. It wasn't enough. I told the owner about it and she was appologetic. I would love to stay there again, but I wouldn't include breakfast for next time.

Dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at!!
I can not believe this place has good reviews on Hotels.com, they must be fake or paid for reviews. I had 2 night here at Kep and chose Mealea based on positive reviews and the photos. Well what a dump. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s not a resort, it’s no better than a 1970s hostel ( even hostels today are better). It was dirty, old, poorly maintained. The room smelt of mould and sewerage and was so unkept. The linen was dirty and had holes in it. The mattress was old and vile and had no mattress protector ( I slept on the bed in shorts and T-shirt). The towels stunk of mould and were threadbare and 1 had a huge hole in the middle. The bathroom was vile and the floor was some type of painted clay and was always wet and stunk of mildew. I showered in flip flops and this is the 1st time I do this in a hotel ever. The pool was so dirty and slimy around the edge and the sun loungers were filthy (it would take 5 minutes to clean the lounges but nobody seems to care at this place). The breakfast served up the oiliest eggs I have ever seen and the bottom of the eggs were covered in black crap off the frying pan. The staff were unprofessional and at 06:45 each morning arrived to work and were chatting so loud it woke me up and I asked them to be quieter. They were yelling across the gardens to each other as they cleaned the bungalows and had no regard for guest peace and quiet. Very unprofessional behaviour. Worst place ever. Should not be on Hotels.com.

We do care about our customers and we do everything possible to satisfy every single person who is staying at Mealea Resort. I carefully checked every details you shared with us but honestly, nothing can be considered as true towards the people reading your comments. If your perception was so bad, why not sharing with our staff your complaints during your stay, so we can better accommodate you? When you were here, you never addressed a single comment to our staff. Our swimming pool is maintained every day and we never stopped any service since the Covid-19 crisis. Our staff is keeping the room clean every day as well. We regret you have had a bad experience with us but we can’t accept and recognize any responsibility. Sorry about that. Great place
Don't want to be too positive because I want to keep it to myself. One of the best locations in Kep, in my opinion. Quiet. Right across the street from the water and about 100 meters from Crab market. Beautiful sunsets sitting by the pool.

Wonderful garden setting but room had no outlook. It was close to crab market and the swimming pool was great and overlooked the sea. Breakfast was acceptable and had options at an extra charge.Staff friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay!
Lovely location. Room has plenty of toiletries and robes were provided. The bed was very comfortable. While close to the fish market, the hotel itself is secluded and quiet. Kep beach is livelier and only a 15 minute walk away. They can arrange tours for you as well.

Good location
Host Olivier was very gracious. The breakfast was huge and very well presented. The rooms were large and had everything you needed. I can’t find fault with Mealea. It is ideally situated for sunsets when the weather allows. Well priced too.

Best value for the money in Kep
The hotel is in a great location. The whole staff is great and happy to arrange transportation or activities for you. The breakfast is delicious. The pool is nice and the view from the pool and restaurant is one of the best in the area. Best place in Kep if you want a great, affordable, relaxing experience.

It's a crawl home from the crab markets!!!!!
Great resort very close to the crab markets, enjoyed the pool & sunset views from the bar. Room very comfortable with excellent aircon, staff helpfull. Amazing tasty fresh seafood at any of the crab market restaurants (we stayed 4 nights & tried most of them) would visit again.

The hotel is just over the road from the crab market and has great views over the ocean, the pool could do with a good scrub around the edges but all in all pleasant two nights, super fast wifi.

밤에 천장에 쥐가 돌아다니는 소리가 다 들려서 잠을 못잤어요. 호텔 직원에게 이 사실을 알려주었는데 어쩔수없다며 지붕과 천장 사이에 벽이 있으니 걱정말라고(?) 안내려올거라는 말을 듣고 후... 조치를 해주는게 아니라 안심을 시키는건 무엇? 진짜 사진에 비해 너무 시설이 노후됬고 화장실 사진도 하나도 없었는데 막상 가보니 진짜 이상하고.. 한국분들 가지세마요

Sehr schöne Anlage, gutes Frühstück, einmal wurde der falsche Tee gebracht, wurde aber bemerkt. Probleme mit Klimaanlage waren innerhalb 10 Minuten gelöst. Gute Lage, zu Fuß nur 5 Minuten zum Crab Market (Crab in Pfeffersoße ist einfach genial!!) und 10 Minuten zum Nationalpark. Nur kurze Tuc-tuc Fahrt von Strand oder einem kleinen Mangrovenwald entfernt.

Very good hotel。 部屋は全て独立タイプで1階にあります。 広いですし、建物自体は古いのでしょうが綺麗にしてあります。 スタッフもみんな感じが良いです。 近くには目の前の海で捕れた新鮮な魚貝甲殻類を調理して売っています。 ワタリガニの様なブルークラブは手のひらサイズで一匹5ドル程度でした。 歩いて15〜20分のところに砂浜のビーチがあります。 このホテル。 グッドです。 お勧めします。　 私は2019.9.17.〜9.22.に宿泊しました。 雨季の為、肌寒くプールには入りませんでした。 乾季に行くことを勧めます。

クラブマーケット近く
クラブマーケットが近く（徒歩5分）、マーケットで蟹・海老・イカなどをテイクアウトして部屋のテラスで食べることができました。また、マーケット以外にも海鮮レストランがたくさんあり、毎日の食事に困ることはありません。部屋は清潔で、湯量はすくないものの、お湯のシャワーも問題ありません。プールは小さいですが、そもそも利用者があまりいませんので（時期柄だったのかもしれませんが）プールに入るのも、プールサイドで太陽を浴びるのも、ゆったりと利用することができました。スタッフの方々もみなさん愛想がよく、また適度な距離を取るよう気を使ってくれましたので、自分の時間でゆっくりと過ごすことができました。

Bel emplacement, a 7 mn à pieds du crab market, jolis bungalows entourés de jardins, piscine propre et agréable. Manager sympathique, souriant et très professionnel. Merci à la gentillesse du personnel de cet intime hôtel où l'on se sent tout de suite bien des l'arrivée. La propreté de l'eau de la piscine et l'environnement en font un lieu magique. Bravo de trouver au Cambodge ce type d'hébergement.

Un moment de détente très agréable
Après quelques jours passés à Phnom Penh, ville bruyante et très sale sans intérêt pour ma part, l'hôtel Melaela Resort à Kep a été un moment très agréable. Cette petite structure avec une jolie vue sur la mer depuis la piscine très propre, est un endroit ou je conseille de s'arrêter si l'on fait le choix de passer à Kep. La salle de bain attenante à la chambre à ciel ouvert est une expérience à vivre. Il faisait très chaud et le fait de se doucher dans une pièce ouverte en partie haute à été très plaisant. Le personnel est très présent et souriant (rare au Cambodge!!!) et d'une extrême gentillesse. La proximité du restaurant "le kimly" que je recommande fortement (crabe au poivre de Kampot excellent) est aussi à prendre en compte; vous pouvez y aller à pied en traversant la route. À vous rendre également, au Sailing plus loin, le tuk tuk est de rigueur, mais vous ne regretterez pas! Un endroit magnifique loin du tourisme de masse, d'une propreté exemplaire et de très bon plats également.

Cordialement accueillis par un couple Franco/ khmer nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet endroit au bord de la mer a deux pas du marché au crabe Personnel aux petits soins , les bungalow charmants sont caché dans un magnifique jardin , une adresse à recommander sans aucun doute , dans une petite ville calme et très agréable
