The resort is maintained well, it is very close to popular beaches and the downtown area. The ocean is literally in the back yard, the pool and hot tub are very nice. "My stay at Kona Tiki Hotel was peaceful and refreshing. The seamless self-check-in process with door access codes made arrival effortless, and checkout was equally convenient. The saltwater pool is a true highlight, operating from 7am to 9pm daily. Nothing beats starting your morning with a refreshing swim before the day heats up, and ending it with an evening dip while watching the sunset. The hotel's prime oceanfront location offers breathtaking sunset views that create the perfect backdrop for evening relaxation. One of the most captivating features is watching the powerful waves crash against and surge over the sea wall – it's both spectacular and hypnotically beautiful. You could easily spend hours just watching this natural display. The location couldn't be better positioned. Public transportation is accessible with a nearby bus stop (just be sure to check the current schedule), and the hotel sits right on Ali'i Drive, putting you 5-10 minute driving distance of numerous restaurants, eateries, and additional beaches to explore.
