The apartment is part of a quiet, historic country house; it has been fully renovated and is comfortably furnished. It consists of a living room, a bedroom for two people, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious bathroom with a shower. Total size: 56 m². The sofa bed in the living room can be used as an additional sleeping space. (Sleeping area: 140x200 cm; comfortable mattress topper provided).<br><br>The living room opens directly onto a large south-facing terrace with an unobstructed view of the garden.<br>The property is located on the edge of a field, is well sheltered from the wind, and is not visible from the street. The garden is largely left in its natural state and invites you to relax and reflect.<br>Amenities include: Wi-Fi, satellite TV, Blu-ray player, a small DVD collection, refrigerator, electric stove, oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and family games. We also provide patio furniture, a sun umbrella, and a small grill.<br>Children can use the swing, trampoline, and spring rocker.<br>A cot and high chair are available.<br><br>The holiday rental is located in Rubitz, a small village just outside the town of Barth and in the immediate vicinity of a picturesque stretch of stunning natural scenery known as the Bodden landscape. This landscape, shaped by the last Ice Age, lies between the Baltic Sea and the inland region.<br><br>At the foot of the Fischland/Darß/Zingst Peninsula—most of which is part of the “Vorpommern Bodden Landscape National Park”—the area around Barth offers a range of interesting destinations, attractions, and many spots for leisure and relaxation.<br>The area is ideal for cycling. The Baltic Sea Coastal Cycle Route runs directly through the region.<br><br>The peninsula, with its most famous seaside resorts—Zingst, Prerow, and Ahrenshoop—boasts magnificent white sandy beaches, the most beautiful the Baltic Sea has to offer.<br>These beaches are a 20-minute drive from Rubitz. There are plenty of parking options right near the beach. There’s also a well-maintained bike path leading there. The town of Rubitz can also be reached by train. The distance to the Kenz train station is 0.5 km.<br><br>From the small town of Barth, you can take boat trips to dream destinations such as Hiddensee, Stralsund, Prerow, or Zingst. Everywhere you go, there are opportunities for hiking, dining, or strolling. The maritime charm and the salty sea air make for a perfect day at the harbour with a fish sandwich or ice cream.<br><br>Even when the weather isn’t ideal for the beach, the central location makes excellent destinations—such as the amber town of Ribnitz-Damgarten (15 min.), Stralsund (30 min), the Marlow Bird Park (30 min), the Rövershagen Strawberry Farm (30 min), Rostock (45 min), or Rügen (30 min).<br>Stralsund, in particular, has a lot to offer and is always worth a visit. It features a beautiful historic old town, the Ozeaneum, the “Hansedom” water park, and the zoo.<br>The location is ideal for all kinds of excursions, whether by bike, train, or car.
