All in one washer dryer added 4/2024. New year-round hot tub added February 11, 2024.
Stay at the Goose Branch Lake House & fish from your own dock only a few steps from the back porch. Catch catfish, largemouth bass, red eyes, blue gill etc. Beaver Lake is a trolling only lake so no large waves to disrupt your game. Canoe, 2 kayaks & 2 stand up paddleboards including life vests available to rent. Nice fire pit with Adirondack chairs for nighttime entertainment. Kamada charcoal grill off back porch.

This lake house is centrally located on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. 95% of the world's bourbon is made in Kentucky! Make this your bourbon trail headquarters to see more distilleries during your stay.

Goose Branch Lakehouse has 1 master bedroom with king bed, a bedroom with two full beds, one common area bedroom with 2 twin beds and 1 bath. This home sleeps 8 people. Bedrooms are on 2nd floor.

The lake is what makes this house extra special. There is absolutely nothing like walking from your back porch down to your dock with your fishing pole to fish. Enjoy watching the kayaks and boats meandering about on the water. Like watching wildlife? We have plenty of geese, deer, squirrels and birds of all colors. We have a canoe, 2 kayaks, and 2 stand up paddleboards including life vests for rent. You can launch from the back yard.

Repeat stay

Second year in a row we stayed during our guys trip to Kentucky! Great central location for hitting many distilleries and still have a comfortable place to relax in the evenings. Love the covered deck facing the water, fire pit, grilling steaks, etc.

Amazing Hospitality

Our stay didn’t go as planned as it rained, snowed and was cold the whole time. However the home was very nice and the little touches, like a basket a snacks, stocked bathroom supplies made the stay very enjoyable.The owners go above and beyond to make it feel homey unlike most rentals we have used.

Cozy and comfortable stay near many distilleries

We really enjoyed our stay here to celebrate our anniversary. The thoughtful and cute touches and decorations really made us feel at home. It rained during our stay but we loved rocking on the back porch swing overlooking the lake. The AC units in the second floor were very helpful in keeping the room comfortable at night. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!!

Quiet and cozy

It was a beautiful place...nice and quiet!! Saw some wildlife too. Convenient to Lawrenceburg and Frankfort...so we saw several distilleries which is what our trip was about! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place.

Great cabin experience!

Very nice lake view, easy walk to boat dock. Fantastic back porch! Comfortable seating, indoors and out. Kitchen was very clean, and any needed items were easy to find. Cool decorative items. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Lake House Stay

Great house on the lake, was a central location for the distilleries we were touring. Communication with Sherry was amazing, from checking in, to the community had a boil water advisory that she let me know about right away. Renting the kayaks was easy, and fun to get out on the lake to spend the evening.

Relaxing!

We enjoyed our stay! Lovely deck and lake! My husband just wanted to fish and I just wanted to read a book, and we did just that! Nice neighborhood!

Lovely stay

The lake cabin was a unique stay for our family. The furnishings were comfortable and we found sleeping arrangements worked well for us too. It was a lovely spot on a small lake that was a great speed for young family life but would also be fun for teens that could kayak and canoe that are available to rent. All in all we would stay here again. Owner was very timely in addressing any issues that came up durng our stay.

Great "home base"

A group of us from 4 states get together in Kentucky every year to revel in our love of bourbon. This was an amazing home base for us. A lot of distilleries within 30 min and centrally located to hit just about any! It was great being able to make our own dinners and then enjoy a fire and sample our finds from that day!

Lake house

This was a sweet cabin on the lake. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. The table for eight was exactly what we needed since we had 8 people. They didn’t all stay there but we ate together so that was nice. It had the amenities we needed. The hot tub was great since it was cold outside. The owners were very attentive.

Fishing Weekend

Dad and grandsons had a great time fishing at the lake, they used both the private dock and state dock catching plenty of fish at both. I enjoyed sitting and taking in the surroundings. Good times had by all.

Awesome Cabin On The Lake

This cabin was the perfect place to stay while we were on our 127 yard sale adventure. We spent most of our time on the back porch after a long day of shopping and it was so relaxing! The hot tub is a great touch! We loved the place and would recommend to anyone needing a relaxing getaway. Thank you so much!!

Peaceful fishing weekend

Booked for a peaceful fishing weekend and got exactly what I needed. Quiet. Right on the lake. Lots of fish in the lake (though they’re smart… 😁). Very well kept and maintained, plenty of space and amenities.

Father's Day weekend

Property was perfect! The cabin had everything we needed for a great stay. Kitchen was fully stocked with pans, utensils, etc. to cook. Refrigerator had a filtered water pitcher which we loved. Bathroom was also fully stocked with toiletries, including bug spray. Bedrooms were comfy with smart tvs. The back covered porch was a highlight for all. Lots of good conversation with comfortable furniture and shade. The dock was perfect to fish from, although lots of sneaky turtles taking our fish bait. We only caught two blue gill. Mosquitoes will carry you off so bug repellant is a must. Lake is great to kayak on. My husband loved exploring the lake and kayaked for hours. Family also played corn hole which was a blast! Used the fire pit for s'mores and fire roasting hot dogs. So relaxing at night, looking at the stars and listening to the bullfrogs croak. Friendly neighbors and quiet area. Kroger only 10 minutes away if you need something. Sherry was ready to reach and added personal touches to the cabin that made it special. She had bubble wands for our girls, a s'more kit, and other goodies in a basket in the kitchen. My family created some of the best memories! Thanks Todd & Sherry for everything.

Perfect Bourbon Trail Getaway

Excellent basecamp for Bourbon Trail

Loved staying at this great cabin on a lake. First time doing the Bourbon Trail and this place was ideally located. Very clean and easy check in. Would stay here again.

Cute cottage tucked away on a quiet lake. Multiple distilleries and horse farms within easy driving distance. House was clean and had all we needed, but bring firewood and charcoal for the grill. Host was responsive to any questions or concerns. Tip for those with kids or guests who prefer privacy, two of the beds are in the open area at the top of the stairs between bedrooms. We had a comfy stay and would recommend.

Great place. Neighbor's across the lake were drunk and loud, hut rather peaceful otherwise. Lots of bluegill in the lake. House needed a little work, but homey. Not for 8 grown people. Twin bed pics are a little deceiving, as they are on the floor in the hall between the two bedrooms.
