Summary:

Spacious 3 bedroom / 1.5 bathroom home -- great for families! Enjoy each morning from the cozy sunroom. This home features a reliable workspace for remote work and online learning. An updated kitchen with all the needed amenities for cooking meals. Walkable to downtown Kent and nearby tons of eclectic shops, cafes, and restaurant options.



Traveling with pets? No problem! We are pet friendly and would love to host your furry friends!



Guest Access:

You will be in the perfect spot, just outside of downtown Kent!



There is free off street parking for 2 vehicles in our driveway behind the house. Metered street parking for additional vehicles.

There are two sets of stairs on the property.



One set of stairs to the front door

One set of stairs to the second floor bedrooms and main bathroom



Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: If you would like to either check in early or check-out late, please reach out to us at least 24 hours beforehand and we will do our best to coordinate with our cleaners. We do charge a fee of $25/hour (up to 2 hours late/early) for this option. Thank you!

Really charming and comfortable older home! Everything was spotless. Great location. My only suggestion would be curtains on the front windows downstairs for a bit more privacy.

Another great stay! It’s the perfect place for visiting Kent State. Location is great! We love walking downtown and easily grabbing coffee or something to eat. The house is clean and comfortable. This was our third stay, and we’ve never had any problems. Mark is a great host and very communicative, making sure we have everything we need.

Charming Vintage Cottage

Came into town for the Kent fashion show. The cottage was great for our family! Host communication was excellent, the cottage is super clean and in the best location near campus.

Excellent place

Awesome place/ location, very clean spacious. The property mgr’s were very propmpt/ courteous with any questions/ concerns. So many restaurants / bars/ stores/ coffee shops within walking distance. We had a great stay!!!!

Excellent location and comfy!

We were visiting family in the area and wanted to have a centrally located place for me, my husband and our two dogs. This house was perfect for walking to the brewery and all the downtown restaurants & shops. We did a pub crawl one night!! Easy parking in back, coffee shop next door for breakfast, and THE FRONT PORCH was great for hanging out and talking into the wee hours. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit the family.

Home Away from Home

We stayed in Kent for a week and were helping to care for my 16 and 8 year old grandsons while my daughter (who lives in Kent) was having surgery. The location was excellent, we were able to walk many places (restaurants, library) and take field trips to beach, aquarium, and mini golf. The home was clean, comfortable, roomy, we made meals, enjoyed home’s board games and books, pitcher of filtered water in frig was a nice touch!

Wonderful house Downtown

We booked the property for a sisters’ reunion/art retreat. We spent most of our time around the big dining table painting. The room was spacious with plenty of seating for the four sisters and the periodic others who dropped in for visits. Location was great; lots of coffee shops, eateries, and bars were only a short walk away.Two of us were from a much cooler climate (Alaska) and greatly appreciated that the property had air conditioning (and not just in-window single room units … it had ducted AC through the whole house). We loved the enclosed front porch which, despite the warm weather, was always comfortably cool. The only potential drawback was that the kitchen had little counter space so if we’d wanted to do any serious cooking, it would have been a challenge.
