Great little spot with comfy bed, large living space, laundry, and well-equipped kitchen. Excellent proximity to Bethel Woods! Be mindful that restaurants/other activities are few and far between—would recommend packing food or planning for a bit of an excursion if you'd like to eat out!

Thank you for sharing you very nice property. We would definitely book again and maybe even stay long. The adjacent towns were located very conveniently.
Stayed here for a concert at Bethel Woods - the location and convenience were perfect, everything went smoothly. The space was comfortable and had everything we wanted for our short time there. Would definitely stay here again.
This was our first experience with VRBO and they set the bar high for all that follow. Beautiful property. Well-appointed. Conveniently located. Great communication.
Came to the Catskills for a concert at Bethel Woods and I'm so happy I chose this place. It was like a little one room apt. So wonderful and much better experience than a hotel. The bed was so comfortable and cozy. I could oversleep every day. I need that mattress and comforter! The Mgr was wonderful and a great communicator. Be prepared for spotty cell service in Kenoza Lake. I was good with that so for me, no problem. If ever I visit again I would definitely check this place first.
The apartment we stayed in was beautiful and clean. The kitchen was adequately equipped for our short stay. The host quickly solved an early problem that we brought to her attention to our great satisfaction. It was a much enjoyed stay.
Everything was perfect with this stay. It was close to Bethel woods and Callicoon.

It's a great place to stay especially if you are visiting Bethel Woods. When I needed any info the host was quick to respond and very helpful. We will come back here next year for our annual trip for a concert at Bethel Woods.
You won't be disappointed if you stay at the Gedney House.
This was the most satisfying vacation rental we've used so far! Well represented, exceptionally clean, modern and well appointed. The owners were very responsive to questions and pre-stay requests like making up the sofa bed. Not huge, big enuf for 4 in a pinch, and perfect for 2. Very well located for local sights.
Pleasant homey space and the hosts were lovely. The bed was very comfortable and I slept better than I do at home. Shower temperature and pressure was perfect.
Great place and excellent proximity to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts
We were in town for a concert at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and were very pleased with this nice VRBO and its close proximity to the venue. We would definitely book this rental again!
My husband & I stayed here after enjoying a concert at Bethel Woods. The place was clean and nice and close to the venue. I would definitely recommend it.
We enjoyed our stay, but the listing indicated there are 2 bedrooms when in fact there is 1 bedroom. The second bedroom is the living room sofa bed. I did not read the listing carefully enough to realize that. We would have preferred the privacy of second bedroom.
The unit was clean, but a little funky. Obviously an old building that has been retrofitted into a vacation rental. That's not a bad thing on it's own, but it's a thing. Odd use of extension cords all over the place to reach outlets not near where they're needed. The building (and bedroom) are right on a road with a pretty high speed limit. Fortunately pretty low traffic, so not really a problem. But something you should know if traffic noise really bothers you.
I did have a small problem when I got there. I didn't realize there was a main door code as well as a code for the door into the unit once inside. Arguably my bad, but I couldn't reach anyone to help me get in. I walked around outside in the dark for a while, looking for another door. I finally figured it out, but didn't hear back from the property manager until the next morning. Glad I figured it out on my own, but I took a star off communication with the property manager for that - I would have been sleeping in the car had I not put it together. Again, this is arguably my own stupidity.
