Kept window/balcony door open, issue was mosquitoes. We were bitten every day. Dust wasn't cleaned around the bed and underneath. Only noticed it due to kids walking bare foot in the room. "The Maurushaus offers a beautiful historic stay in the old town of Füssen. We were welcomed by the owner who explained us about the attractions, activities in the area and gave us some tips. We got a big room on the first floor. Breakfast was simple but good enough for a short stay. The owner said guests can also buy their own breakfasts and eat here. "Enjoyed our stay. Great hotel smack bang in the middle of Fussen Altstadt. Walkable from train station. Room was a delight, clean and comfortable. We had a little balcony which was a bonus! No lifts so may require some climbing for higher floors. Hotel gave us a Fussen Pass which allowed free bus travel to Hohenschwangau and concessional tickets to the castles. Thank you for great memories of Fussen and Neuschwanstein!"
