Fun Modern Hotel in the Heart of the Old City
Great modern hotel, excellent facilities. Outstanding Breakfast. Helpful staff with good suggestions for places to eat since the hotel restaurant was not open in the evening.

Main street hotel
Do you like staying in the very center, namely - on the main street? Look no further. Spacious and cozy rooms, I could see the Liberation Hall when lying in my bed. A perfect place.

Last minute booking. To my surprise, this was a well-equipped property. I would stay here again if I had business in this area again. Also the TV was huge and had many free movies on demand

Good as usual. The hotel staff is very accommodating, rooms are clean and maintained by housekeepers on daily basis (the small thing to note that the shower soup bottle was empty inside of the shower cabin, but we were using the other one beside the sink). I like the SPA (very clean), surroundings and high courtesy of staff working in this hotel. I am going to be back again. Thank you!

Thank you to the lady working on Sunday (Oct 27th) afternoon shift. She was very helpful and nice. The hotel itself is very clean and it has lovely SPA area. The only bad things we'd experienced was to have another guest entering our room before our check out. Day before, we had to wait until 3 pm to check in, so I really do not understand how it could have happened. Also, the Dormero logo for the car park is situated straight at the municipality car par (very misleading). We ended up with the €10 fee next day. Other than that we had a lovely stay, enjoy the SPA and the local area. We tool the boat along the Danube river in Kelheilm. Thank you.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your nice review. Of course, such a thing must not happen that a strange guest comes to your room. What happened exactly is hard to understand for us today. We definitely want to apologize for that. If you found the Dormero logo on a parking lot, this is our own parking lot and is not owned by the community. For this reason, you were also charged 10 euros fee. This is explained as follows: our car park is bound by the provisions of the right for private property. We pay a rent to the owner every month. Thus, we have to charge a parking fee for the economic preservation of our house. We ask for your understanding. Of course you would have to point this out to the receptionist. Perfect location
Great place to stay. Have been there several times. Perfect location. Great english tv movie channels. Wish they had a tea/coffee pot in the room to make morning or evening tea. Parking is $11.33 a nite. Would be nice if it was included. Very nice facility and bathroom features.

Great bed, but hot room
The bed is extremely comfortable, the wifi is good and the bathroom is really nice. However, the room was so hot that it prevented me sleeping well. There is no air conditioning and even with the windows open there wasn't much of a breeze and the room didn't cool down. The floor also wasn't very clean either. But they do provide a free mini bar with drinks, which is a really nice touch.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice and clean room with free drinks in the mini bar. Shocking red color of the toilet other than that all very nice. Great location.

Great hotel.
Check in was 1/2 hour. No one at the desk. Hotel is fantatic. Used to include breakfast now 15$. Lots of parking 10$ daily fee. Room large and comfortable but no tea pot. Tv was great. Many good on demand movies. Great shower.

Good choice in Kelheim
Large building on the main drag in Kelheim. Trying very hard to be trendy, with 'funny' notices around. Bathroom had a 'Treasure chest' of bits and bobs, including a condom, but no bar of soap. Free minibar was welcome in the heat. However, our room overlooked the central drinking area, so in the warm weather having the windows open meant more noise, especially from lingering drinkers. Breakfast seemed overpriced, so we went down the road instead. Cycle cellar was a bit awkward to get to with a bike (steps and no ramp). However, overall I'd say it was a good choice and the price was very reasonable. Well worth wandering up to the impressive Befreiungshalle on the hill above the town.

Funky hotel with spacious rooms
This is a big hotel located in the centre of Kellheim and just a 20 min drive from Regensburg. The hotel staff are very friendly and the actual decor is quite funky - a lot of read and black and tongue in cheek information signs. The bathroom was a bit dated - though the room itself was huge and up to date. It’d be nice if they made it a little more homely - such as by adding a carpet on the otherwise hardwood floor. Cleanliness wasn’t quite up to scratch with the odd errant hair in the bed, though I was far too tired to be bothered by it so just picked them out and went to sleep. The free minibar is a nice touch and parking at €10 a night is fair. Overall a nice hotel in a good location, we’d stay there again.

Wonderful hotel
We loved this hotel from start to finish they rolled out the red carpet for us. It included free mini bar drinks a treasure chest of toiletries and free movies in english. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was huge, there is a spa area, a game room a restarant and bar on site. The only bad things i can say about this hotel it that there was no air conditioning and it was hot and stuffy in our room so we had to leave the window open all night (it didnt cool off until about 3 or 4 am) and the spa had a hot tub you had to pay to use. We will definitely stay here again but we hope it won't be so hot next time.

Nice hotel in old town Kelheim
Nice hotel with nice people. Located in old town Kelheim with a 5 minute walk to the Danube River. Good restaurant with reasonable prices. Good value, recommend this for anyone wanting to stay in the Regensburg region.

Good value.
Great location. 10 € a nite to park and 10€ for breakfast. Breakfast was quite good. Better than most. Room was comfortible. A little noisy in the front of the hotel. Late nite clubbing and early morning delivery trucks. 5 min walk from schneider brewing.

Lovely place close to downtown
I initially found this hotel by accident, due to nearby Regensburg being practically full. Now I come back each time I am in the area. Both the hotel and the town around it are great for a scenic stop over.

Great Location
The man at the front desk was not very friendly. The hallways looked old and run down, but our room was nice. It was a good size with comfortable bed. It was also very quiet. The air conditioning didn't cool the room, so it was very warm. The hotel is in a great location- lots of restaurants, shopping, sights right outside the door. The only free parking is on the street until 9:00am. We didn't have the hotel breakfast because it was pretty expensive, but went across the street to a bakery.

Sehr schön gelegenes, modernes Hotel. Gemütliches, großes Bett. Sehr leise. Leider sehr eingeschränkte Rezeptionszeiten (entgegen der Beschreibung auf Expedia erst ab 14:30 Uhr geöffnet). Das führt die Bewerbung des Hotels mit dem Service "Gepäckaufbewahrung" etwas ins Absurde. Gäste W-Lan war defekt, Ersatz gab es keinen. Der "Fitnessraum" sind ein paar in den Durchgangsflur gestellte Geräte. Der Whirlpool muss vorab an der Rezeption extra bezahlt werden. Der Fahrradabstellraum war, genau wie die von der Rezeption etwas abgelegene Haupteingangstür, nicht verschlossen. Theoretisch hätte also jedermann von der Straße Zugang zu meinem Rad gehabt. Alles etwas unpersönlich. Keine schlechte Unterkunft, wird aber dem Standard, den man sich augenscheinlich selbst zuschreibt, nicht gerecht.

Lieber Gast, vielen Dank, dass Sie sich die Zeit genommen haben, uns ein ehrliches Feedback zu geben. Gerne gehe ich auf die genannten Punkte ein. Die Rezeption ist zur regulären Check- in Zeit ab 15 Uhr immer besetzt, in der Regel ab 13 Uhr, leider kommt es manchmal zu unvorhersehbaren Ereignissen, welche erfordern, erst ab 14.30 Uhr vor Ort zu sein. Gepäck abstellen ist jederzeit möglich, gerne hätten wir Ihnen unter der Nummer an der Rezeption (24 Stunden erreichbar) weiter geholfen, wie und wo Sie dieses unterstellen können. Der Fahrradraum ist immer über Nacht verschlossen, ansonsten sind wir vor Ort und haben immer einen Blick drauf. Sicherheitshalber kann man das Rad aber absperren, ein Schloss haben die meisten Gäste am Rad. Mit unserem WLan kämpfen wir tatsächlich, dafür möchte ich mich auch entschuldigen. Ich hoffe, dass wir Sie beim nächsten mal überzeugen können, denn wir sind eigentlich total -lich und persönlich. Ihr DORMERO Hotel Kelheim
