Excellent ski accommodation with your own private spa pool to indulge in, a cosy gas fire, all day winter sun and natural light, close to the lakefront and to Remarkables ski field.
VIEWS: Fantastic vantage point overlooking the Frankton arm end of Lake Wakatipu and 180-degree mountain views taking in Ben Lomond, Bob’s Peak, Queenstown Hill, and the Crown Range.
LOCATION: Sunnyside Vista situated on prestigious Loop Road, on the Kelvin Heights Peninsula. Locals refer to this neighbourhood as the `sunny side of the lake` and guests will quickly discover this advantage! Kelvin Heights is a popular spot for walking, biking, swimming, boating, and golfing nearby at The Queenstown Golf Club. Winter guests will love the close proximity to the Remarkables Ski Field access road.
Enjoy a 20-minute lakefront walk along the trail to the nearby Hilton hotel for wonderful dining options or relax with a local glass of wine at their popular `Pinot Pit.` The International Queenstown Airport is ten minutes away, Frankton shops and restaurants are ten minutes away and central Queenstown, 20 minutes – or even better – catch the water taxi into town!
STYLE: Sunnyside Vista is a bright, sunny, and modern home thoughtfully designed with all day sun in mind, captivating lake views, wrap around balcony, and sophisticated yet homely living spaces. This home has a captivating atmosphere, with comfortable yet chic furnishings ensuring a great home away from home for all who visit.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: The master bedroom is on the main level of the house and has a king bed, lake views and ensuite with shower. This bathroom is accessible from the hallway and can also be used as a guest toilet. The other two bedrooms are downstairs, along with a shared family bathroom including bathtub and separate shower. The bathrooms have toiletries, hair dryers, heated towel rails and underfloor heating. All luxurious bed linens and towels are included with your stay.

A queen size sofa bed is available in the downstairs lounge and can accommodate an additional two guests if required, this is best suited to children. (Prior arrangement and charges apply).
*King split bed can be configured as two single beds, providing excellent flexibility for groups of friends, families or couples traveling together.
LIVING AREA: The generously sized open plan living area is on the main level. You`ll find cozy couches gathered around a warm gas fire, perfect for relaxation, there is also a heat pump which is great to keep you cool in the summer months. Additionally, there`s a separate seating nook equipped with a TV featuring SKY including sports channels. Bi-fold doors extend along two sides of the room, welcoming abundant natural light, refreshing breezes, stunning alpine views, and a seamless connection to the outdoors. Downstairs, there`s a second lounge area, offering extra space and privacy for families to spread out, with a TV, a sofa bed (with prior arrangement, charges apply) and sliding doors leading out to another outdoor patio.
KITCHEN & DINING: Fully equipped modern kitchen with all the comforts, including the all-important Nespresso coffee machine and an induction hob. Seating options aplenty, enjoy your meals with stunning lake views, the table has seating for 8 – or gather around the island bench with bar stool seating.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS: A fabulous wrap around balcony is accessible through bi-fold doors and is a great spot to soak up the sunshine and alpine air. Complete with a BBQ, outdoor table and chairs and bean bags, there is everything you need for a relaxing afternoon admiring the ever-changing views of this Frankton end of the lake. The downstairs patio has additional seating and a luxurious Hot Spring spa pool, which is a real treat after a day on the slopes!
OTHER PRACTICALITIES: There is garage parking for one vehicle, with internal access, storage space for ski gear, bikes and golf clubs, and a laundry on the lower level.
RATE INCLUSIONS, FEES & MINIMUM STAYS: Rates are inclusive of 15% GST, premium linen and for a maximum of 6 guests. Two additional guests can be accommodated on the sofa bed with prior arrangement and are charged at NZ$50 per person / per night (Maximum 8 guests). A departure clean fee of NZ$375 applies. Bookings of 8 nights or more receive a complimentary mid-stay service with fresh towels. (Bed linen change not included; upgrade to a full linen change is available for $150 - $200 including GST, TBC based on rooms). Minimum 3 night stay year-round, and 4-7 nights during peak periods

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS: - Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Any guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their stay.
- Sunnyside Vista is a residential dwelling and no parties or events are to be held.
- Please be mindful that the property is located in a residential area and be courteous to your neighbours. As per Resource Consent with council, quiet hours are to be observed between 10pm and 7am.
- We are required to take a security bond pre-authorisation hold in addition to the total booking price. (n/a to Airbnb bookings).
- A standard exit clean is included with your booking; however, you are expected to leave the property in a satisfactory state (clear and tidy). Charges may apply for loss of keys, excessive rubbish, sorting contaminated rubbish/recycling, excessive cleaning or damage to the property for example.
- Charges may also apply for travel costs and management/staff time if for example, having to make a dump run, coordination of tradesman/repairs, additional property visits, shop for replacements, and so forth.

We stayed at the lovely Sunnnyside Vista for 4 days in August. Beautiful house, easily large enough for our party of 7, with stunning 180 degree views of the surrounding area and mountains. House is so well equipped and immaculate that it is like a home from home.
Could not have been happier with the location, as it is only a short drive to all amenities, Franklin and Queenstown, but far enough away that you have peace and tranquillity if you want it.
Will definitely book again on our next visit. Additionally, I cannot recommend Relax It’s Done and Margaret in particular highly enough. They / she made the whole booking experience so easy, everything was fully prepared for our arrival and nothing was too much trouble whilst we were there. Excellent - thanks you!
We had a wonderful stay at Sunnyside Vista. The House layout was perfect for our family group ,and it was so well appointed, with a fabulous kitchen ( with a view! ) which we took full advantage of.
We loved the quiet location, the easy access to the Trail, and Lakeside, and of course the spectacular view! Even the steep driveway didn’t faze us, coming from Wellington! I could not fault the Management company with clear instructions for check in and check out, Margaret was a pleasure to deal with, and nothing was too much trouble when the garden pipe sprung a leak to rival a Rotorua Geyser !
If you are looking for a modern, exceptionally clean, Holiday house ,away from the crowds, with spectacular views then this is for you!
We loved the house and the location. Beautiful view of the lake. Easy access to Queenstown, and yet private and quiet location for relaxing family time. We would definitely go back.
