We were working in the congress Centre which was 3 minutes walk to the loading area so a perfect spot. The room was clean and comfy. There is no bar or restaurant but we found a very good cafe round the corner for breakfast and a 15 minute walk to town found many restaurants

As a 3 Stars Hotel, it has no proper Entrance. The Picture does not reflect anything. The pictures are bit falsified and does not have Waterpool Entrance. No breakfast and Restaurants within 20 mins walking distance. Afterall, not even a small Freezer in the room. Toilets are small disasters. Not enough lights. Never again in this crap Hotel.

There was a very loud music festival all nights on the weekends and very loud construction works all day an working days. This was a massive annoyance.

it was the apartment with a kitchen.. then kitchen had n cleaning supplies , so you had to but dish washing liquid, napkins, paper towels to use the kitchen.. The staff could not or would not print off my ticket for the Blues festival s i missed the event..one gave ne the wrong email and i re-emailed it several times to no avail .. You literally have to beg for kleenex for the room... never ever had a hotel that refused to provide kleenex. lastly, after leaving i rec's an email for a charge for a bottle of wine .. there was a bottle of wine n the living room table with not charge attached with 2 bottles of water.. No on mentioned a room bar or cost for the water and wine in the living room table.. yet insisted in two emails that i pay.. i will never stay ther again.. So many other hotels near Spodek with microwave, business center and restaurants ..

Første og sidste gang på dette sted.

Værelserne var ok, men sengene var ikke behagelige at ligge i, og de blev ikke redt ordentlig. Da vi kikkede på deres hjemmeside og deres billeder, kunne vi se at der var en dejlig restaurant, og det var med til at vi valgte stedet, men det viste sig at hvis vi ville bruge disse faciliteter, skulle vi spadsere til et andet hotel, som lå 15 menuters gang fra hvor vi boede, og det er jo ikke sagen når man er gangbesværet, jeg vil kalde det falsk reklame.

No access to Spodek the hotel

SO, the whole point of the stay at this hotel was acces to spodek rawa blues festival, w/o having together a taxi afterwards... But the access was limited to staff and event person. Hotel guest had to walk around the entire estate to get to the front entrance.. not thru the hotel attached to spodek.. Fortunately, the hotel has excellent customer service to make up for the fact that you have to enter the bldg in a hail of smoke. smokers hangout at the entrance .. all day and night .. the ashtray is right at the door of the entrance. for hotel and restaurant.. so to avoid lung cancer ya might want to grab a gas mask before coming... again they do have the best front desk people ...and that is this only reason to accept the level of smoke in the place.

Brilliant hotel.

Had a fantastic time at hotel diament spodek, the staff are very friendly, the room was clean and very comfortable, fresh towels every day, cleaned every day. Breakfast was great, cereal, fruit, cheese, meats, yoghurts, different breads, bacon, scrambled eggs, salad, cakes and other things. Eat in restaurant at hotel and that was great too. It's about 10 to 15 minute walk into the town from hotel. Very quiet in hotel, didn't hear anything from the spodek, hotel doesn't look anything from outside but it's another world inside. The bar and restaurant are very reasonably priced but does close at 10pm. Sylvia on the reception was adorable, very very helpful. All in all we had a brilliant time.

Hotel molto básico, sicuramente non per viaggi d'affari. Stanze con letti e cuscini molto scomodi. Avevo prenotato una stanza doppia per avere un letto matrimoniale e mi hanno dato due letti singoli separati senza possibilità di unirli. Anche se pubblicizzata la palestra è ridicola e messa nella Hall dell'hotel. L'unica nota positiva la colazione decente e il personale carino.

The location is good but it looks like the back of a supermarket where all the deliveries are coming, weird structure. They were taking stuff in/out constantly like a venue setting a stage..., the security guy was very rude, not very politely cos I took the wrong way to leave the hotel. On the other hand, it was quiet room and clean but needs updating the decor, carpet no no, please we are in the 21st century, the pillow not good, I don’t understand why many hotels use that big pillows instead of the normal ones. There war a misunderstood about my payment and to clarify that everything was paid, a month ago, I have to contact Hotels.com, the receptionist wanted me to pay again, she didn’t even have my right details, not happy with that situation, lack of professionalism. I have to say restaurant style and breakfast were good, and service very friendly.

Prisvärt boende i Katowice

Väldigt bra läge då jag var i stora Spodek Arenan under veckan. En 10-15 minuters promenad till centrum och många restauranger. Finns även restaurang på hotellet.

Spodek arena!

The hotel is situated at Spodek arena, so If you're attending something there then it's the perfect location. Hotel breakfast is good, but the immediate surrounding area is maybe not the most exciting. Only about 15min walk into central Katowice though, with lots of restaurants etc. Not a bad option at all, but probably more for Spodek attendees.

Sehr zuvorkommendes und stets mitdenkendes Personal. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Einzig, dass die Toilette nur eine nicht-verschließbare Schiebetür hat ist etwas sonderbar, aber kein richtiges Ärgernis. Das Hotelrestaurant kann man gar nicht genug empfehlen! Auf der Suche nach einem Ort, an dem richtige, deftige polnische Küche genießen kann? Wieso das Hotel verlassen? Das Restaurant unter dem Wohnbereich des Hotels ist eine kulinarische Perle und verhältnismäßig preisgünstig. Alles in allem waren meine Freundin und ich äußerst zufrieden und würden im Diament Spodek jederzeit wieder ein Zimmer buchen!

Good place to stay! Exterior is bland, but interiorwise great, clean and comfortable. The "gym" area section was a disappointment though, as it consisted of three bicycle machines and one treadmill running machine. The staff were cheerful and helpful :)
