"We loved our stay at Hotel Mountain Paradise. What a beautiful view of the Volcano from high up in the hills above La Fortuna area. The staff was so nice and welcoming. We were upgraded to a better villa upon arrival which was such a kind gesture! Breakfast was awesome and included some typical food plus other hotel restaurant classics. The area around the hotel is wild and natural. We saw so much wildlife from just outside our door. Only problem is that we had a bat fly into our room on our last night - quite terrifying for us not used to that sort of thing. I would recommend this to everyone!"

"Great clean property. Not walkable, you have to have a car. Nice staff, close to Mistico. Weak drinks and get dinner elsewhere, the restaurant on site is very hit and miss. Room was very nice. We had an outdoor shower and bathtub. Great view of Arenal. Would stay again."

"No denying that the surrounding property is beautiful! We loved that every room has an amazing view of the volcano that can be seen from the sitting area, bed, or hot tub! Every night my daughter was thrilled to find a new towel animal! The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the BBQ dinner at the pool restaurant. The hot springs on property were wonderful (consider skipping the Titoku springs with kids. They were much too hot and my kids weren't a fan). Only opportunities I saw where the window by the hot tub was obviously harder to clean so big dead fly right in the view of the volcano (less than magical) and the paths to and from the pool and restaurants to our were long and at night were poorly lite so difficult to see, especially with young children. Otherwise, an amazing property in Arenal! "

"Cute bungalows in the middle of the jungle. We were in the back row backing up to the wild life. The back patio was perfect for enjoying coffee and listening to nature. The hot springs were really nice. The food was good but pricey. We really enjoyed our night here. "
