Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Kasustu?
The best area to stay in Kasustu is along the beachfront, particularly around the main promenade that stretches from the Kasustu Beach Park towards the eastern side of the district.

This area is the heart of Kasustu, offering direct access to the Black Sea coast. The promenade is lined with cafes, restaurants, and shops, making it a pleasant place for a stroll. Many hotels here offer rooms with sea views, and you're never far from the sound of the waves.

For couples, staying near Kasustu Beach Park is ideal. This part of the promenade is well-maintained and provides easy access to the beach for relaxing days by the sea. There are also several upscale dining options nearby, superb for an evening out. The connection to the coastal road also makes it easy to explore other parts of Trabzon.

Families will find the eastern end of the beachfront, closer to the more developed sections with dedicated beach facilities, to be very convenient. Here, you'll often find hotels with amenities like swimming pools and direct beach access, which are great for keeping younger travellers entertained.
When is the best time to go to Kasustu?
The best time to go to Kasustu is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasantly mild and the crowds are thinner.

During these periods, you'll experience comfortable temperatures ideal for exploring the region's natural beauty and historical sites. The humidity is lower than in the peak summer months, making outdoor activities more enjoyable. You'll also find that popular attractions are less crowded, allowing for a more relaxed and personal experience.

For those who enjoy warmer weather and don't mind more people, July and August offer hot, sunny days great for swimming in the Black Sea. This is the peak tourist season, so expect higher prices and more bustling areas.

If you're seeking a quiet retreat and don't mind cooler temperatures, the winter months (November to April) can be lovely, especially if you enjoy crisp air and potentially snowy landscapes in the higher elevations.
