"WE enjoyed a wonderful stay at Landhaus vor Burg Eltz. It was a nice walk to the castle. The owner and staff were very attentive. Lunch in the restaurant was perfect. If you are going to visit Burg Eltz, this is the place to stay. "

"The breakfast was excellent, the staff were very helpful and spoke perfect English, the property doesn’t look as nice from the outside, and its towards the back of the town, and parking isn’t onsite, but we managed to find a place very close by with no charge. I would definitely recommend staying here the roof terrace and honesty bar were a nice touch too. "

"This property was like stepping back in time…a very quaint well kept hotel. We were traveling by bikes and they had bike storage on property which was great - they also offered early check in! The breakfast was phenomenal and all restaurants in the area were great! We would definitely stay again!"

"The location was very convenient, just a short walk from the bus stop (which is where the supermarkets are located). Luckily there was an elevator available although there are a few steps to go up in order to get to the reception desk. The room was clean, they did have carpet, but I had brought slippers not knowing if this was something provided in Germany. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was kept very comfortable. "The rooms are charming and clean…know a few things before you book…they do not speak English (only a problem if you do not speak German)..The dinner in the restaurant is by reservation only..the staff are very friendly and we enjoyed our stay…could add fans for those warm evenings"

"Great location, felt like we were in the heart of the activities of the town. Clean rooms, well appointed. Self check in feature adds convenience since hotel is not really staffed after 6pm. Cons- WiFi did not work the entire stay. Staff could not fix and nothing really was done to compensate for this issue. Elevator was down for most part of the stay. 5 floor hotel with plenty of steps. "
