In addition to beach and swimming days, you should definitely visit the city of Split, known as the largest city in Dalmatia. In its city center you will find the now protected Marjan Forest Park and the 4th century Diocletian's Palace, which has been under UNESCO protection since 1979. Split has a moderately warm and humid climate with hot summers, so you will definitely have the opportunity to swim at Split's various beaches and dive in the crystal clear Adriatic Sea.
