If you want to get close to nature and enjoy the hospitality of home, i suggest go no where but to kuname. I was in tears while I was leaving the place, need I say more?!

Place is like an oasis. About 10min along the main sealed highway you turn off onto dirt road over the train tracks and into Wild Rivers Reserve which has wild animals including predators. Because of this, once you arrive at the property by car you cannot walk anywhere except from room to room/lodge and in daytime on the grass in front of the river which is full of crocodiles and sometimes hippos.
All this can be an unreal experience knowing that lions or leopards may enter the camp site at...

The Blue Cottages are a great stay for those who want an authentic, simple, not luxurious African experience in a rondavel or one bedroom cottage.
The restaurant serves good quality food till 4pm in an idyllic garden setting. The staff is very friendly.
Great for those travelling through the area or considering a short stay, away from the touristic pre-organised tours.
