Enjoy the Karitane beach and estuary. This property is minutes' walk from the beach and sits above the estuary and is your typical basic kiwi batch. Opposite is the Karitane store which makes awesome coffee. They have general grocery items and takeaways. Plenty of room for children to run around, and fully fenced. Room for a tent if required. Enjoy beautiful peninsula walks, kayak hire available in Karitane and good surfing in the right conditions. Bookings a minimum of 2 nights.

Great location. Easy to find and close to shop and estuary/sea. Comfy beds. Air'bnb' say check out is 11am but info from owner which we received the day before arriving states check out is 10am. But this was a minor thing that didnt really affect our stay. Would definitely stay there again

Stayed for 2 nights, Lovely quiet spot by the water. The General Store over the road has everything you need with great cafe and wine! Good size rooms as well. Just off the main road so perfect place to stop.

This is a nice simple holiday bach in a great location (opposite the local store). We were down for the weekend and going to the football in Dunedin on Sunday night, and the owner very kindly let us have a very late check out which was very convenient to us. Recommended.

Nice place even in winter
We stayed in July and it was lovely and warm once the logburner fire was going. There were plenty of warm blankets and heaters in the bedrooms too. Only 30 minutes from Dunedin Central, so a great location. Would love to come back in the summer!
