I stayed in room 6609. The room was terrible. Toilet floor was so slippery n dirty. Aircon was spoilt. Repairman came at night to repair but after an hour it spoilt again. Room was so noisy at night as if there was a war. This is my first and last in this hotel. Very bad experience for me n my wife. Didn’t sleep the whole night as was perspiring as if in a sauna.

Totally not a well maintain hotel. TV remote spoilt and central aircon was not strong. Toilet tiles were very old. Breakfast spread were very dissapointing and door security access card get spoilt easily. Not worthy place to stay for the price we paid.

I shouldn't be having expectations but the hotel looks great on Hotel.com in reality it's more like a budget hotel poor in maintenance, the breakfast and swimming pool was good, staff's in hotel are friendly and helpful.

Good hotel breakfast, superstore just opposite, and many eating outlets nearby. Free hotel shuttle to anywhere. The property is quite rundown.

Good
Receptionist are very good. Nice place and beach view if stay at sixth floor. Room is good but toiletries and shower need to improve, very old. Overall stay is recommended.

Disappointing
Trembling sound made by disco in the hotel makes the stays unpleasant. Working on single lift can make customer waits. Upgraded my room to Premium from Deluxe, Deluxe room is horrible with small TV and toilet is not clean.

Everything is ok Only the room n toilet quite dark. Like dimly lit. Maybe for adult is ok but for kid not enough bright.

Hotel Aston Karimun in general
Hotel staffs are friendly and willing to help. Premier room is properly renovated and very comfortable. Location a bit secluded but still have access to some eateries and mini market.

OK for one night but rooms are fairly grim. Amazing gym and pool but the gym is open to locals so quite busy and the pool water has a very strange taste!!

Hotel was fine. Room clean. Mismatch on Tea Cups and Saucers; no tea spoons had to use Toothbrush. Karaoke unbelievably noisy. Anything below the 6th. Floor must be a disaster.

Quite a nice hotel
Had a pleasant experience staying in Aston. The room is big and quite clean. Check in and Checkout was easy and the staff was polite.
