A perfect family gathering in KC!

This house was the perfect setting for a fantastic family weekend in Kansas City. Its location was excellent for getting to the Plaza as well as downtown and Westport. We had plenty of space for everyone and everything was clean and lovely.

Spacious and comfortable in the heart of KC

We had 8 adults stay at this house and it was the perfect place. Its a gorgeous older home with a lot of charm, and incredibly spacious. The remodeling they've done looks great and thoughtful of the period. While it wasn't the most walkable neighborhood, it was in a great part of the city that was within a 5-10 drive to all of KCs best museums, shopping, restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend staying here for a nice weekend getaway!

This house was exactly what we needed. The first floor was big enough for us to work and hang out as a group. The beds were super comfortable. It was easy access into downtown KC. The hosts were very attentive and quick to respond with our minor issues. I would 100% stay here again.

Walnut Oasis

My family and I needed a centrally located home to stay for a family memorial service. The home on Walnut met all our criteria and more. We loved the layout, central gathering areas and very private bedrooms. The home has been tastefully remodelled but still retains its original charm and warmth. We will definitely return to this lovely home the next time we gather in Kansas City. Our host, Amber was a delight to work with during the reservation process and during our stay. She has other properties as well that we will be checking out for future travels.

Thanksgiving Holiday

The Walnut house exceeded all expectations! It’s a lovely, updated home that gave our group of 7 plenty of space. We prepared a Thanksgiving meal & appreciated the generous size of the kitchen & a table that comfortably seated us all. The living spaces, bedrooms & bathrooms were all clean & well appointed. Amber was quick to respond to the few questions that we had & made it clear that she was available 24/7 if need be. Our son lives in KC & we all look forward to future family reunions at the Walnut house!

Beautiful home, excellent host!

This is an older home, beautifully renovated in all the right areas. It's wonderful to still see all of the intricate woodwork and molding that they have left in the home. Every aspect of this place is great. The kitchen is well appointed, the bathrooms are spotlessly clean, the living areas are comfortable and warm. Because it is an older home, they have thoughtfully placed floor unit air conditioners in every room, so you can dial in the comfort you want. Amber, the host, was extremely communicative, and helped us with a couple of special needs that we had. She was gracious and forthcoming, polite and understanding. I really can't say enough about this experience. If this home looks like it meets your needs, don't hesitate to reserve it. You won't be sorry.

One of the better rental properties we’ve stayed in. Roomy and plenty of amenities. For our group, the bedroom to bathroom ratio was a big deal. Older house with some nice updates and the extra AC units in the warmer bedrooms was a nice touch.We didn’t know KC very well but the proximity to Westport made this a great spot. Would stay again.

Great location and plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 young children.

Large old house with plenty of charm and quirks that come along with it. Modern updates. It was extremely hot in Kansas City over the 4th of July weekend. We had some AC issues which Amber took care of quickly.
