We needed a place close to our son’s wedding. It was perfect. The home and the host were just what we needed to take the pressure off the event. Host was great to work with. Couldn’t be happier with the home.
This historic house on a hill is in a charming suburb of Kansas City. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms provided plenty of privacy and space for four friends. We walked 5 minutes to coffee, restaurants and shops.
We loved everything about this house and the town. Parkville is a quiet and quaint little community that has embraced its history and charm. The spacious house was perfect for our large family of 7 and the host was easy to communicate with. I would love to come stay again!
This was a great property with great amenities! The 4 queen beds and 4 full baths made it easy for all of us to have our own space and get ready! It was perfect!
So I have 3 business partners and we live all over (WA, TX, NY & FL) so this was an ideal spot and that each bedroom had their own bathroom was incredible and SO hard to find!

Nice old house with great character. All four kids loved that they could each have their own room. Close to downtown and to many shopping and dining options. Was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do (Legends Outlets, KC Royals, downtown KC).
We enjoyed our family get away this weekend. The house was spacious and had adequate bedrooms for our family’s configuration.
Our host was quick to answer questions. The town is quaint and fun to explore. Travel to Arrowhead Stadium was doable. Thanks!
We had a total of 3 families (8 people) in our party. The house was perfectly located between all of the locations we needed to visit. The younger generation visited a local coffee shop in Parkville just to hang out one night and thoroughly enjoyed it.The house was spacious allowing everyone to retreat to their private space when necessary. There were also small nooks for reading or conversation. Beds were very comfortable.
We had a three generation ladies trip to Parkville the last weekend in January. The house was perfect for the 6 of us, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. If we had more staying, we would have had to share the queen beds.
The house has some interesting quirks and we would love to know it's history.
It's a great location being very close to the historical area of Parkville. We felt very safe and comfortable in the house and the neighborhood.
The host was friendly and responded quickly and efficiently.
We would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Great location, but very dirty
We came to Parkville to tour the college and explore the city. The house is in a great location, within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go, however the house was not properly maintained or cleaned. Upon arrival there was foil confetti along the floors from a previous party's stay, hair on the shower floor, and a thick layer of dust covering all fans to the point we couldn't turn them on due to the dust flying on to the beds. Lamps did not have lightbulbs, 2 rooms where there was only 1 light had the lightbulb burned out and we couldn't find any replacements. The grout in the kitchen tile floor was cracking and coming up. I stepped on a shard of glass barefoot the first night getting into bed. We sent pictures of some of the issues to the property manager the first night with no response. Will not be staying here again.
This was a fun place to stay. The host did a wonderful job of combining the house's original charm with a modern flair. Check-in was very easy. We were in town for my husband's graduation. It was nice to have two bedrooms on the main floor so our parents didn't have to climb the stairs to the second level. The only negative was hearing a train whistle often during the night. However, most of my family slept through that. Would definitely stay here again.
