Great value in KC
The house was very clean and updated. I was in town for work and it was easy to get everywhere I needed to be in KC. Great location with local restaurants and shops close by. I would definitely recommend!

Close to everything fun
We stayed 4 days for a Chiefs game, the symphony, the Nelson Atkins Art Museum, The Blue Room Jazz Club, barbecue and the country club plaza. We had a great stay- beds were comfy and it was like a home away from home. Very clean and plenty of room. We highly recommend staying here.

The property was clean and well maintained and located close to where we needed to be for the days we were there. The neighborhood is right on the edge of sketchy but blocks away from amazing. When we arrived the dishwasher was full of the previous stays items and the laundry was full of the past stay's items as well. Overall OK, but not a repeat.

Great Price and Good Property
This property was priced right and had enough amenities to make the stay worth the price. The neighborhood had plenty of good restaurants and was in decent location compared to destinations. Only wish the TV viewing options were better.

Perfect for our needs!
The house is located within walking distance of everything we needed! It is also located close enough to downtown for the wedding we attendee. We even got to enjoy the grill out back with extended family. Overall, this rental was perfect and exactly what we needed!

For example if you need to make rice aroni.. the large skillet warped and really old.
It was great. Very clean. You do need a new set of skillets & pots. Condition of the pans are bad. Only other item I would change is the towels were terribly rough.. I used our own too scratchy, awful.

Nice space for our needs
Great place for 4 adults and 2 kids. I did bring a folding long table with a couple chairs which was definitely needed as we had a few meals at the house and then could all sit together. The kitchen could use a few upgraded pans and larger utensils but overall a great house for our stay.

Okay stay! Small problems nothing major
This is a older property so it’s been remodeled but not professionally done. First trouble was no pass key but called and one was given immediately. (great) however pets are allowed so I immediately got a pet smell. Checked the house and found the rugs were stained. Sprayed with disinfectant and the smell went away. Also the remotes stop working (I went and got new batteries). I then looked for the bikes? No bikes. I went outside to sit but the outside patio was dirty. Not a big deal but when I notified management they said it’s cleaned just stained. So to keep from arguing I requested a hose to wash it myself. They replied it’s clean and they don’t furnish hoses (it’s never been cleaned). Would stay again but not my first choice

Good place for the price
House was clean, well secured, and within a short drive to KC attractions. The kitchen was decently stocked. Beds were comfortable. Be advised of the neighborhood- petty car theft is common. Late at night one night a small group of young people looked into my car in the driveway. BUT it is the KC metro.

Perfect place
The pictures don't do it justice. This little bungalow looks small, but it actually is bigger than what it looks like. It was the perfect, very clean, centrally located place for our family to gather. Would recommend it for up to 6-7people to stay comfortably.

Best experience!
We loved staying in this property! The house was so modern and remodeled with great and functional decor! We walk every morning to Crows coffee a couple of blocks away, lots of dinner spots nearby. Very central location.

Weekend getaway
We stayed from April 21st-24th. The house was very accommodating for 3 of us. Nice neighborhood and quiet area. We had a minor issue with figuring out how to turn the downstairs overhead shower head on (you pull down from under the tub faucet head, there is no buttons or pulls) and a representative for the property answered immediately and advised us how. The driveway has a bit of an incline (bigger vehicles just be aware). There was also a faint smell when you first walk into the house that we couldn’t pin point. It smelled like either hospital grade cleaner, bleach, or something like that. It’s definitely clean though!! Great communication with Al through the app prior to our arrival and during check out. Very cute place!!

Good location in Waldo
Comfortable house in a pleasant neighborhood close to restaurants in Waldo. Kitchens and bathrooms were appointed with the basics, and check-in was easy. The outdoor furniture could use a cleaning, and the bikes need some air in the tires but these are easy fixes.

KC Getaway
The location was exactly what we needed. The home was just as described and had all the amenities our family of three needed. The location was great because we were within walking distance of many restaurants a coffee shop and a really nice walking trail. The host was very professional And timely with any responses. We didn't get to utilize the backyard much because the weather wasn't very warm but it was nice to have a space for the little guy to run around.

Family with 3 kids (6,3,2months) stay
This place was perfect for our family. Bunk beds for the kids and room for parents with your baby who got up throughout the night. 3 bathrooms were awesome as well. Very well stocked with essentials for cooking ( oil, butter, spices). Nice fenced-in backyard for kids to run around in. Couple things we didn’t like- the driveway was a pain as it is such an incline we had to take our extra storage rack on trailer hitch off or it would have scraped. Not sure if there is much the owners can do about it though. Another thing was the lack of a big pot and colander for cooking. Plug for the bathtub needs to be replaced as well. Again this place is excellent for a family with small children. These things were minor inconveniences compared to our overall great stay. Next time we are in Kansas City we will look to book the same place.

Perfect
We rented this house for a long weekend in KC for the Bills vs chiefs game. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if coming to the area. House was cute and equipped with anything we needed. Fenced in back yard was nice for the kids and dog. We were a short drive from anything we were looking to do in KC which was nice. Felt safe in the neighborhood. Just a heads up though they have a bunch of possums in the neighborhood who come out and roam, a couple startled me pretty good when I brought out the dog one night

Waldo is a great location
My wife & I enjoyed our stay. The house was clean with good simple furnishing - not too much fluff. It had all we needed and the location was excellent. We will be back in the spring & hope to rent this place again.

Let me just say this was an incredible find. Located just down the road from Waldo's pizza (and some other great local joints) this place is a find!! Additionally the pictures really don't do this place justice. The pictures make this place seem really tiny. However, this place was more than perfect for our little family of 5. The bunkbeds were great for our two boys, the bathrooms were fine (upstairs master being super great) the beds were comfortable and the TV was grand. No complaints, constant surprises. Really great find!

Nice, quiet place.
We enjoyed our stay here! The couch is very comfortable for some down time. The area around the home is super tight nit, so it makes you feel very secure. I was hoping to get some outside time with my morning coffee, but unfortunately there was no place to sit that was clean. The outdoor chairs were dirty and tearing. The shower door has a gap and doesn’t seem to close all the way, simple fix but allowed for my warm shower to be a little breezy. I would also recommend some curtains on the windows upstairs, to reduce the light in the morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean and updated. We went to the Neighborhood Cafe, and we definitely recommend for food when you stay here. The cinnamon rolls are to die for. It’s only a few blocks away!

First of all, the house was pristine. I was here for my daughter’s wedding and my friend was the officiant. The upstairs was perfect for her to retreat to after all the festivities. My family came for a visit and there was room for everyone to sit comfortably. I would have enjoyed walking around the Waldo area and eating out if it weren’t for all the other festivities. The best part is how much I saved on this verses a hotel.

Comfortable home away from home
This was the perfect property for us to stay, close to family and in a fun, hip neighborhood, close to shopping and easy access to everything we needed. Al, the property manager, was extremely responsive. We had difficulty getting into the home a few times and he was quick to resolve the problem. The home is updated, cute, comfortable and functional. The beds were very comfortable, we both slept great! The home is also quiet. We heard a few dogs barking, but the owners brought them in quickly when it started. We loved staying at PennHouse and plan on being there again in the future.
