This place is amazing. I’ve never seen so many stars in the sky. This is a great property for those who would like to try the camping experience, but need a little luxury in all aspects of their life.

It was a good experience. Nice campfire with complementary s’mores at night. The tent was large and comfortable. The pillows were like rocks. It was nice to start a fire in the wood stove in the morning after watching the sunrise over the mountains. All in all a good experience.

One of the best experiences!
We absolutely loved it! The tent/bed was so comfortable, the food and drinks were amazing, and the place was extremely clean, and staff were very nice and helpful. I loved the bonfire at night and they also had one in the morning with the sun rising as it was a little bit cooler out. I will say, the tents are extremely sturdy as we went through one of the very few storms that they have yearly! I would highly recommend staying here!

I loved the peace and quiet. The evening and early morning campfires were delightful and helped to promote conversation with other guests. The views were spectacular as well as the very early morning (read 4am) stars in the sky. Just beautiful. Staff was terrific...helpful, accommodating and enthusiastic I would definitely stay at an Under Canvas property on my future travels.

Only regret is that we didn’t book more time here…truly, one of the highlights of our trip! Arrive with enough time to enjoy all the amenities offered, hike the property to their slot canyon, eat all your meals there, wake early enough to enjoy the sunrise from your porch, etc. highly recommend!

Loved it
We stayed two nights and it was an amazing experience. Our tent was clean and comfortable. I was concerned it would be too hot in the evening but it was the perfect temp for sleeping. Whitten the General Manager did an excellent job at making us feel welcome. She has also worked hard to have CUC recognized for a low light camp so you can enjoy the amazing stars. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for the unique experience.

Everything was amazing arrange and the staffs were incredible friendly. View was incredibly nice and the foods options were also great. They offer s’more which was fun activities to do at night. We can see the star very clear thru our sky window. However, the tent we had didn’t have hot water. They sent a staff to fix but he couldn’t get it fixed. We were told to wait until next morning for maintenance team to help but we only stayed one night and had early schedule tomorrow, we decide to do a quick shower in cold water. Only that was a unfortunate incident but other than that are very spot on! Still would highly recommended this place but just to make sure the hot water is running next time we visit.

Property was beautiful. Would have been nice to have some sort of heater in the kids tent. Stayed during a cold storm and everyone froze even with the small wood burning fire place.

The tents were cool but very close together. I could hear talking, zippers and flushing. It was a unique experience but I would not stay there again. In my opinion it was very overpriced.

My husband and I stayed in this property sept 27th to the 28th. the weather was perfect. We decided to not use the fireplace in the room since we like our room to be cold. But I believe starting october it would have been necessary. We saw a very large Jack rabbit by our tent. It was so awesome and countless shooting stars! I can’t wait to try the other Under Canvas locations

What a gorgeous way to connect with nature .. the brilliance of the scenery and the night sky is incomparable. Simply amazing. But for just a night or two. Pretty pricey.

Such a unique and fun experience. Location is beautiful. Camping but way better. Only complaint was the bed was super squeaky… for $400 a night, that shouldn’t be the case. Overall 4.5/5

This is a very special place. The natural geology and outdoor activities are plentiful. The food options were both good tasting and healthy. Definitely would recommend the experience to others

Heat wave!
We loved it there. Of course, it was a tent, and we saw 110° on the car thermometer as we arrived, so it was a bit warm in the tent. We were there celebrating our 52nd Wedding Anniversary, and the staff had found out about that before we arrived, so we were greeted with a beautiful flower arrangement and a Happy Anniversary card signed by the whole staff. What a wonderful surprise! That made the heat more bearable for sure, but we found that we pretty much had to stay away from the tent during the days - just too hot inside, but when the sun went down the tent was SOOO wonderful. Our Stargazer tent was perfect for the romantic getaway I had planned.
The staff was so thoughtful. It was our anniversary and we were greeted with this!
Unseasonably hot during our stay, but we were able to work around it.

The hotel is located within a remote mountainous area and must be accessible by car or it is simply inaccessible. There are several fans and air conditioners in the hotel lobby, but there are only two hand-held fans in the rooms and they are powered by rechargeable batteries. There is no outlet in the room, everything must have a USB charging port before it can be plugged into the rechargeable battery. This hotel is not recommended in summer, it can be very hot. There is a lot of wind blowing over the top of the mountain at night and although they provide earplugs it doesn't work. Unfortunately, they are not responsible for the weather affecting the stay.
