Imperial Suites (attached to the Imperial Hotel) is a short Grab ride from the airport, but 25-40 minutes drive from the center of Kuching. There is no near public transportation.
The reason for my OK rating is management’s policy of only accepting cash payment for room (so opt to pay in advance) and charging MYR 200 cash deposit, Since there is no full time reception and stadf don’t arrive till after 9 a.m. you can’t get your deposit back in cash if you check out for a morning flight. The receptionist tried to be helpful and promised to wire us the deposit refund but arranging this is a pain snd we are still waiting.
