Room was clean and adequate though lacking in some furnishings. Bed was ok for me but too hard for my wife. Bathroom fine Rooftop terrace disappointing. Didn't try free breakfast as only cereal and coffee so can't comment. Location is really good. We would stay here again

It’s one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. It reminds us the colonial era yet the facilities are modern. The staff are friendly and always available to help. There are lots of food choices within a 5-10 walk from the hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

The shower in my room was broken, the safe didn’t work, the refrigerator didn’t work, the lotion dispenser was empty. 33 floor building, 3 lifts, one of which was broken, and the staff use the guest lifts as well. On my third night the battery in my door gave out so I couldn’t get in my room-which meant two trips to the lobby from one of the top floors, at close to 11 pm. Once the door was fixed, for reasons I still don’t understand, a random staff person showed up and rang the door at 11:30 pm. I don’t know what language he spoke-it wasn’t Malay, Thai, Chinese, English or French. After trying all those I gave up and made him leave. On a more positive note the bed was comfortable. But the hotel overall needs attention to the basics, maintenance is shockingly bad.

From check in, the front staff were great, attentive, offered a drink and cold towel. After minutes of entering room, they called to check if everything was good. Car lift attendant both were great in helping first timer and do say thank you to both. Finally, Harun , the attendant on my 1906 floor was superb in helping me fill the bottle water when he saw me and greeted us whenever he saw us. Pleasant stay. I will return
