Hidden Gem in the Middle of Kololo

We were amazed to find a fully furnished two bedroom apartment with all of the amenities, including a full kitchen and a balcony for such a reasonable price. The beds are really comfortable and the apartment feels spacious. This is particularly suitable for mid to longer term travels who want a break from guest house life to something that feels more like "home." We've been on the road for 2 months and it was our favorite place to stay yet, even more than the four-star hotels that were more than double the price! It's literally right next to Acacia Mall. You feel like you're in the middle of everything and above it all at the same time.

Okay hotel for the price. No extra hand towels. No hot water in bathroom sink or shower. No pillowcase on one pillow. Staff leaves at 6pm so I would have had to call their cell phone to get more towels

Cheats

Had to wait and call again to check in even though I had called and checkin time was agreed. Room was not ready. Besides that, no balcony, no ceiling fans, no laundry or ironing facilities, no kitchen ware. Lied that all rooms were full. After 4 hours agreed to move to lower floor, less hot than the top floor. Small fan provided. Still no stove top. Small hot plate offered after much asking. 2 pots borrowed from neighbour. Frying pan given next day. Still no other kitchen ware like spoons, spatula, knives, cutting board. Was assured laundry would be washed ironed and delivered. Wet clothes delivered after 2 days. No regular laundry service. No ironing facilities in room as promised. Bottled water delivered on some days. No clean towels or toiletries replenishment. Poor internet connection. Good location but noisy whole night. Nice property being ruined by completely dishonest lazy, don't care service.

Dobra lokalizacja i mila obsluga

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja w centrum na przeciwko Acacia Mall, latwy dostep do sklepow i restauracji. Bardzo mily personel: Eric byl bardzo pomocny i zawsze znalazl dobre rozwiazanie. Apartamenty maja podstawowe wyposazenie i co najwazniejsze sa w bezpiecznej zonie.

good location - middle of the nightlife - noisy

this place is good value for money. its spacious and the location is perfect. right in the center of the nightlife. that however is causing a lot of noise. most days there were loud music until 6 am. Very loud

This place is all about price and location for a two bedroom apartment. Apartment is comfortable enough, issues are linen isn't washed or replaced all the time, the hotel does not have parking, just the public carpark out the front which is full at peak times ie most evenings. For the money id go back.

Took booking but were fully booked?

Booked online, then received an email saying fully booked. Had to make emergency arrangements to find accommodation in between flights. When I checked site again later, they were still showing 4 rooms available.

Excellent value for money but can be noisy

It is incredible value for money. To find a one bedroom furnished apartment for $45 dollars per night in Kampala is very rare indeed. The building was only constructed in 2016 so it is relatively new still though you can find smaller issues with the building works if you look a bit closer. The furniture is fine. Nothing special. The kitchen does only have the very basic so do not expect to throw together a five course meal here. You do not need to though as you have plenty of great restaurants just around the corner since Kisementi has become somewhat of a hub for good food and parties. That is also one of the drawbacks though as it can be noisy. I did change rooms to avoid the noise from next door gym at 7.30am, only to find live music from the mexican restaurant on the other side of the building. Another rather peculiar thing is that this is not really a hotel. There is no reception for example. Instead you have to find the building managers office which is downstairs in the basement. The building's basement, groundfloor and 1st floor are shops. Then 2nd and 3rd has apartments. I am not sure what would happen if you rocked up outside normal office hours as you could experience that nobody would be around to welcome you. Better call in advance.
