This property was disappointing. Not accessible at all to street as it sits so high. The road up is quite narrow and there is no walkable area to go down the steep hill to main steeet. Their driver charged me $600 tbt ($17) just to go downhill less than .25 miles so we can eat. There is no traditional Thai breakfast. Everything is a la carts and eat in room. The rooms are old and pool is outdated and much leaves consume the pool. The beach is only accessible by their shuttle at certain times. Overall nice staff but poor facility to enjoy Phuket. We left after first night and going to another hotel. The 1 bedroom king bed does not house 3 ppl as it says. The sofa is more o a live chair. To make another bed it’s extra. Luckily I booked 2 bedroom for 3 people.

Thank you for your review, however I am not sure who wrote it as for this reservation we had three women stay. Maybe use someone else's account or just hide behind a fake name, not nice when critice a place.The properties are exposed with real names and real people so reviews as yours should be supported with real namesThen the reservation was and stayed in a two bedroom private pool villa. The One Bedroom private pool villas are meant for two adults. What is your point?It is clearly stated at check in, and proved by many reviews and information available online, that we provide a free shuttle to the village (5 minutes drive) and the beach (10 minutes drive) from 9am to 10 pm. Could please send a private message with the information about the staff asking for a surcharge. So can investigate the case.The Resort is in Kamala, 60 mt above sea level, not really a mountain and the road up to the resort is 5 mt wide and in the shadow. Steep but not an impossible challenge. Especially for a young person.The breakfast is served at the villas, well appreciated by most of our guests, and at the bottom of the menu is clearly stated "like something Extra or different, please let us know". May be one night in negative mood wasn't enough to notice itDuring covid the resort went under a heavy renovation that included all pools. After your review we checked it again, empty the pool and couldn't find a problem. But we trusted you and checked it.Last point, sorry for the long reply, i suggest next time you walk in a place, see if you like and book it. Nowadays the internet allows you to gather all information beforehand, and not only from the property, but specifically from the Guest (reviews, IG, Google Maps and so on). Nothing is hiddenKind Regards.

This is by far the best resort I have ever stayed at. My husband and I arrived for our honeymoon and from the second we showed up, the staff was super friendly and helpful. We rented a scooter which made getting to and from the area very easy. You are about 5 minutes away from Kamala beach and about 20 minutes away from Patong beach. I love that this resort is up on a hill so you are away from the hustle and bustle. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Phuket. Thank you Villa Tantawan for everything and for making our honeymoon extra memorable.

My partner and I recently stayed at Villa Tantawan, we got the mountain view room and we both absolutely loved it. The villas are spacious, clean and out of the way from the hustle and bustle of busy streets, allowing you to really relax in the beautiful villa whenever you wanted a bit of peace and quiet. Rooms are cleaned and restocked everyday, and based on your needs. The staff are all so wonderful and welcoming, always with a smile or offering you something to make your stay more pleasant. Tantawan provide a complimentary shuttle bus service down to Kamala beach and back to reception, which was great to take advantage of too, given the location of the villas is up quite a steep hill (price paid for beautiful views). Thanks to the staff for their hospitality and service, we hope to see you again someday!

Room was clean. Swimming pool was also very clean. Staff was amazing!! Super easy to communicate with and always available and at your service. Food was great! My only issue was multiple lizards in the room due to a loose roof panel. Other then that the resort was awesome!

Stayed as a family for 5 nights. The villas a big, clean and have all amenities you'd need. The service from the staff was probably the best we'd ever experienced in our lives - they were simply amazing. On arrival the fridge was stocked with about 50 cans of drinks, juices and milk for kids, bread for toast and water bottle relished each day. The villas are up a long steep driveway so I'd recommend a car but you can also use grab for transport and food delivery. Villas are a 10min walk to beach and main strip of restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back.

when we had arrived at the villa, unfortunately I guess their system wasn’t working too well, they hadn’t receive our reservation. So upon arrival we had to wait about 30-40 mins in the lobby with no air condition. However they did compensate us by allowing a later check out which was 2PM. We were 2 couples staying at Villa 1, everything was very nice and simple. However the rain shower did not work. But all in all it was good. Oh don’t forget to buy your own ice, they make you call the resturant and order a bucket of ice for 50 bhat. Also you have to reconnect to internet everyday on your tv, just incase you want to watch Netflix. Still really good.

This was a dream
Villa Tantawan was a dream! The service was excellent and they were so accommodating and willing to help/answer questions. The beach was much closer than we initially thought and the view of Phuket from the private pool was perfect. Bonus: the beds were comfortable! While I wish the food from room service tasted better, it was quick and available whenever we wanted/needed it. I would 100% stay again! The hotel is up a serious mountain that many drivers didn’t like driving up, but the hotel shuttle was willing to take us down to the bottom at anytime to meet taxis etc.

You have youre own privacy if youre going as a couple. Private pool was my favourite! Than you have a private jacuzi tub in the bathroom which was also lovely, only thing that was a let down was when the electricity went for 2- 3 hours. I wouldnt expect that from a 5 star hotel.

The hotel provides top facilities in the rooms, we had a 3 bed villa with private pool. However there is no concept of service, even a cup of tea can't be ordered properly. And it's 25 minutes away from Patong beach and even away from nearest beach so no one delivers food there either. stay only if you have own transport and like to cook and make tea, facilities are available.

Fabulous Getaway!!
My wife and I had an amazing time staying in a totally private one bedroom villa, set up on the hills behind Kamala beach. Having a huge private pool just steps from your villa was such a bonus. To be able to swim in the pool, lie in bed or lounge on the couch and still look out to the ocean and hills was just so relaxing. The staff were both attentive and discreet and very friendly. Although a complimentary bus took you into the beach at certain times of the day we found it more convenient to hire a bike to get around.

A peaceful vacation
I like the location of the resort. Its on the hill overlooking Kamala town and beach. Only 10 min walk to the town centre but its so quiet and peaceful up there, we didn't want to leave the villa. The villa was spacious and the pool was perfect for the two of us. All staff are friendly and helpful.

之前住過已經很喜歡，因為環境清靜，風景很美，泳池又夠大！這次回來，看到室內設施更新了很多，居然提供了延長插頭及戶外用啦叭可以在泳池聽歌！而且員工非常友善，能完美配合地安排了一個驚喜生日蛋糕！所以下次我會再回來的！非常推薦！
