Staff was very helpful and friendly. Just so all are aware no elevator or pool on this property. Extremely close to the lovely beaches. Hotel provided umbrellas, mats and large towels for use at the beach. Has a delightful coffee shop on the main floor.

The service, room and locatin At Kamala was very excellent. One thing to point out, there is no lift so if you have difficulties walking up stairs or carrying heavy luggage , you might have a problem.

Room was very clean and staff was very nice and helpful. The air conditioning took a long time to cool the room down, and it went off randomly in the middle of the night. The bed was SUPER uncomfortable and the hallways were loud which made sleeping while your neighbors were awake a challenge. They offer free beach towels and mats which is great with the beach across the street.

Wonderful find! Clean, super great water pressure, friendly staff, AC working, nothing broken. Great sleep each night. Coffee shop downstairs reopened. Keep balcony door closed as mosquitoes are super smart. Water is not crystal clear. Souvenir shop and excursion kiosk is super helpful.

Excellent, small, family-run hotel. Room was quiet, tucked back from the beach road, but close to the action and a 3 minute walk to the beach. Friendly, helpful staff. Definitely recommended!

tucked away in plain sight
I loved this little hotel - just a short walk to the beach and all the shops and restaurants just outside the hotel entrance. My room was delightful with a small balcony and was very clean. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, when I was unsure how to get from the main road bus stop to the hotel, they came to pick me up.

Amazing quaint hotel near the beach. Everything about our stay here was wonderful. The staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the cleaning staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. At Kamala is in the heart of everything. There are many stores and restaurants near by and best of all it is just steps away from the beach. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

At Kamala. Highly recommended.
Great staff, very helpful. Very good location just 100yds from the beach. Beach mat, towel and umbrella provided. Generous breakfast. Room was good and clean, although no iron and A/C could be stronger. All in all a great value.

The stay was great for me. I went a little early and I thought I could only check in at 2pm, but the staffs were flexible enough to allow me to check in early! The room was nice and cosy, I didn't care much for the view and sort because I am on a solo trip and the hotel is by the roadside. So I don't expect much. Food, beach and massage were all pretty nearby, even 7-11 stores too. So overall for me is a 😊👍

A little gem, 2 minutes from a beautiful beach...
Rooms were spotless and clean. Our room had a DVD Player and there is a large selection of Blu-ray Discs to borrow from the reception. When you arrive, you walk down a narrow walkway to get into the reception area. Not a huge problem but I don’t think this does the hotel justice. The hotel doesn’t have a swimming pool, but we only used it for sleeping and relaxing. Overall, I would throughly recommend this hotel.

Close to the beach
The staff was nice and allowed us to check in an hour early. The place is just across the way from Kamala Beach. There are tons of restaurants along the streets. The location was great. The room was clean and neat. Free water bottles. The downside was the sink wouldn’t drain so we had to use the shower to wash our hands. The balcony had no view. It was blocked by the building next to it. Other than those things I would stay here again.

Nice hotel but not for relaxing at
The hotel was crammed into the busy tourist Street. That was good and bad. It made it close to everything including the beach only a hundred meters away. But the hotel was then only for sleeping not for relaxing at. It seems a little high priced for what it was. But I think the price was in competition with the rest of the area.

Pleasant but no hot water
A clean and pleasant hotel in a convenient area of Kamala. Friendly staff. The room was ok but basic. The main problem was no hot water so a cold shower and they knew but didn’t fix it although asked. I suspect that there is a continual problem with this.

the room was comfortable and quiet despite being on a busy treat. Staff were very nice. U have to go upstairs -no elevator but they will assist with luggage. Beds comfortable. Room very clean. They have selection of free DVDs as well

AT Kamala - superb!
At Kamala was fantastic! We needed a place to stay for one night and this ticked every box. It's convenient but quiet, a couple of minutes walk from the beach, spotless, comfortable and the staff are super friendly. Free beach towel rental, DVD rental and organised a taxi to the airport. Would certainly stay again and would recommend for people who aren't fussed about a pool but want a central location at a good price.

Excellent hotel for the money!! For breakfast you get set choices but each are very good. The beach is within a very short walk and the area is lively enough to be fun but, enough to be family friendly. I can't say enough about how friendly the staff is and how helpful they are...absolutely pleased!!!!

Great value hotel in good location
Our double room was very clean and spacious, with a small balcony overlooking the Palms Resort. The staff was very friendly, professional, and quick to fix any complaints. It was a bonus to borrow a fresh beach towel, beach mat, and umbrella each day for enjoying local Kamala Beach (5-7 min walk). They provide luggage storage option, though the door did not look secured when an attendant was not present. I was very grateful to have a taxi arranged from the front desk gentleman for me to the airport, as Kamala only has private taxis or tuk tuks. If you're looking for a pool, At Kamala Hotel only has a pleasant rooftop with umbrellas and lounge chairs for sunbathing. I enjoyed the teal rain showers on a hot day! Overall, a great stay and I would stay here again.

Good hotel in a central location
The hotel is very centrally located in Kamala. 3 minutes walk to beach, and central to all bars and restaurants. The owner is very friendly, and the hotel room, is cleaned daily, has an aircon, safe, fridge and en-suite. All you need is there for you. Breakfast is quite substantial, and the entire staff are very friendly. There is a bar below, which serves food until quite late if you fancy a late snack. and it is good too. Will surely stay there again,

Very noisy, no elevator, room smell, good location
No elevator, but staff carried my luggage. The room looked very clean but smelled like a men's locker room. She said they would come by to "spray" the room (yuck). That never happened. The room was VERY noisy. You can hear the kitchen staff talking LOUDLY and constantly from 7:15 a.m. to 11:p.m. and you can hear the TV in the room next door! The stinky food from the restaurant below could also be smelled and was nauseating. The location is good - across the street from the beach and in the middle of the shopping. I somehow thought this would be a quaint garden hotel - it is not! I would not stay there again because of the noise.
