"Our trip to Crete Retreat was fantastic! Beautiful grounds, quiet and very enjoyable sitting in the sun near the pool having a glass of incredible Greek wine. Rob and Rachel were outstanding hosts. We got to meet their whole family. Great family atmosphere and I would not hesitate recommending this property to others. Close enough to Chania city for easy access and far enough away for quiet tranquility. The Crete Retreat was perfectly located on the island for us to easily visit most of the...

"Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse. Very limited kitchen facilities, clothes washer and dishwasher smelled moldy, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The Dog next door barked a lot all hours of the day and night. The deck boards on the 3rd floor balcony were not attached and moved around when you...

Top Kalyves Hotel Reviews

Cretan Dream Resort and Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Great quiet location, delicious breakfast, clean, nice view to the sea Will come back next year"

Samaria Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was very clean and staff were so helpful with everything we asked. From needing an iron in our room to planning day trips. They even took the topper of the mattress bc my brother in law needed the bed more firm. Breakfast was incredible. I felt like I was in a resort with the choices we had. The only minor complaint I have is the lights in the room were a little too dark for me. But such a minor inconvenience and only bc I have poor vision."

Morum City Hotel Chania

10/10 Excellent

"Clean nice hotel. We were lucky to get a spot for our rental car with the hotel, but the space is very limited and likely needs to be arranged beforehand. This hotel location is ideal. It is on the edge of the old town - it is still fully accessible by car or taxi, yet close enough to walk to any areas of interest."
