Solo travel, the room and the hotel was spotless, the food was incredibly and you have some options if you don’t like spicy foods, friendly staff and they also offer laundry services, I can’t wait to go back. Thank you Umaid Bhawan for the hospitality, accommodation and amazing experience.

This is one of the most spectacular hotels in which we've ever stayed (and we travel a lot). From the seamless and informative check-in to the most helpful staff, this is a place not to miss. Our Price of Whales suite was simply magnificent... beautifully decorated, spacious, and functional. The cleaning staff was never seen, even though the room was cleaned 2x/day. The outdoor seating for dinner was very beautiful with fire places placed strategically next to occupied tables. The service was spot-on, and we never wanted for anything. The breakfast room is gorgeous, as is the 51 Shades of Pink restaurant. The pool is nice too. The driver/guide we booked through the staff was excellent (Vijay) - must tour the private rooms at City Palace that only visitors staying at Rajmahal Palace can see. Beautiful. The Observatory is a must as well. And, Amer Fort. Oh, and don't forget to stop at a jewelry store for some precious gemstones! This property is truly special.
