"We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this lovely, very comfortable house and its beautiful surroundings: the peace and quiet, our swims in the lake (not cold at all at this time of year), the rowing boat, our visits to Öland and Kalmar... "Der Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus am Mosjön in den letzten Oktoberwochen war sehr entspannt und ruhig. Wenn man keine Lust auf Straßenlärm und Hektik hat, ist das der geeignete Ort dazu. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber, einzig die Funktionalität des Backofens wäre zu bemängeln, aber wer will schon im Urlaub ständig in der Küche stehen. Das Haus ist klein aber fein.Es hat alles notwendige um 5 Personen zu beherbergen.Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt auch gern den einen oder anderen Tipp. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und ideal für Fahrradtouren. "Vi hade högre förväntningar på området och blev därför rätt nedslagna. Enorma mängder flugor inne som ute, väldigt lite om inte ingenting att göra för barnen förutom poolen som dessutom stänger redan 18 så efter det fanns noll för att underhålla barnen. Inte en lekpark inom gångmöjlighet och väldigt tråkigt då. En fotbollsplan fanns men inga fotbollar. Absolut ett ställe för kanske ensamma att åka men verkligen inte för familjer. "

"Wonderful hotel in a great location just down the street from Kalmar Castle and the train station. Shops and restaurants within a five minute walk. Room was clean, comfortable, cozy, and nicely appointed. Warm breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly and hospitable. I can’t emphasize enough how welcoming the staff was. I will definitely be staying at Slottshottelet next time I visit Kalmar. It truly felt like a home away from home."

"The staff were life-savers! They are all so friendly. All speak English very well. Check in is different from an American chain so plan ahead to be in hotel restaurant by 20:00, or make easy arrangements. The room was so quaint and beautiful. Breakfast was so traditional. I loved it. I've missed Kalmar and it was good to make a visit back and stay at this lovely place. "
