The staff was just amazingly kind and helpful. The location was very nice. I was sick with a flu when I checked in. They treated me like I was a member of the family. My stay couldn’t have been better.

Great hotel in kalaw

Clean, comfortable and very close to town. It’s the perfect spot for a stop over in Kalaw before a trek or for longer. Really nice breakfast also. Nice views of the town

Familial hotel with nice staff and beautiful view from the breakfast room. Good trekking agency advice. It is not right in the center but kalaw is not that big so it does not matter. Since it is an old house, walls are pretty thin. We would recommend this place.

New management making many updates

This inn was recently purchased 2 months ago and is in the process of being updated. The new owner and manager is incredibly friendly and helpful. She is genuinely concerned with the guests’ comfort. Any small issue we may have experienced, she immediately responded to with great care. She is a delight and has many plans for improvements. In fact we were the last guests before she was closing the inn for a couple weeks to do some work. If I’m ever back in Kalaw I would love to stay here and see all she has done. Even now it was a joy to stay at this family run inn.

A nice homely hotel

Being a keen birdwatcher Theint Theint was very helpful and enthusiastic in helping to find me transport and a guide to visit Yay Ayekan reservoir. This was a huge bonus for me and produced excellent results. Also the immediate area was perfect for walking around the town's perimeter as well as for walking into town for evening meals (about a 5 minute walk)Theine Theine was a really kind and as we had arrived with heavy colds gave us plenty of honey and ginger tea which was really soothing. The hotel had a nice family atmosphere and all the staff where helpful and friendly. The breakfast was substantial and the fresh fruit juice excellent, just fruit with nothing added. We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel.
