Adults Only & Resorts in Kalaw from AU$37

Great place to stay before a hike to Inle Lake. Go for a walk up the hill to the temple cave. Clean rooms with excellent hot water. Breakfast is more than one can eat and delicious

Lovely boutique hotel - a must if u r coming to Inle Lake.

Absolutely delightful property and I cannot recommend highly enough, we loved our 2 night stay. Spotlessly clean large bungalows, with all amenities in a lovely garden setting. Breakfast was delicious and extremely large. The hostess was so welcoming and hospitable and very, very helpful, allowing us to check in at 0600 after arriving on the overnight bus. She organized our boat trip around the lake and taxis to and from our next hotel. We were to take the overnight bus back to Yangong after...

From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and offered great hospitality. Although our room was not ready when we arrived we were kept informed of when it would be. The food was amazing and it was good to see what Burmese food is like and how we should eat it. Rooms were clean and the fruit basket was lovely. The Shan chest which acts as an icebox was a nice little touch.

This hotel was great and the staff were outstanding. When I arrived I asked about a trip out on the Inle Lake. By the time I got back from the atm which is only across the road they had a guide there ready to take me. That is great service. I was on the water enjoying my day with twenty minutes of arriving.

Fantastic hotel with great rooms and service. Right on Inle Lake and we were upgraded when we arrived. Great place to relax or explore the lake on a range of tours that the hotel provides. Also great value for money. The restaurant was very good with a good rangeof food at reasonless prices. I would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Myanmar.

The free hotel bikes were a real bonus. Short stroll to Pub Asiatico, which is a great watering hole.

We loved this hotel. Great location, right in town and close to the bus station, and the service was excellent. Although our bus left late the day we checked out, they let us hang there and shower before we left. Definitely recommend.

We stayed at the end of the rainy season, which luckily mean not so many tourists on the Lake. Yet even when the resort was fully booked it didn't seem crowded (it's not a huge resort with a smallish number of villas). The villas are charming - and very big. Food was good (although we ate twice at Green Chill for lunch - about 30 mins by boat - which was exceptional for local Shan cuisine). We also walked to a other resort near by for dinner one night - it was great (warning if you do this,...
