"We booked and paid for this property only to be told by Catherine the local property mgr (not Holidu) a day before we departed the U.S. (and only after WE'D called her for another reason) that she was moving us to a different property, as this house had construction going on. "The house was immaculately clean and larger than expected. The third bedroom is in a self contained annex which worked well for us. The outdoor area was huge and well furnished with comfortable chairs and sun beds. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they provided us with some grocery items on arrival and some freshly payed eggs from their chickens. The house is a five minute easy walk to restaurants, shops etc and 10 minutes from the beach or port. We had a great time at this house...

"It was outstanding! We were lucky to get an upgrade to the best room (with jacuzzi). The staff, breakfast, grounds, beach, room - everything was blissful. Like a garden of Eden. We hired a car but perhaps it would have been better to get there by water taxi as the roads are incredibly narrow and winding. We parked at the top and didn’t dare drive down to the beach, but others seem to manage. The hotel is built into the hillside with incredible views of Kalami Bay. There are lots of steps and 2 elevators to go up and down to the beach, pools and breakfast and reception. One reception staff member is multi-lingual (about 5 languages) which made it easy to communicate. The staff all spoke English. They were very attentive and checked to make sure we were happy with our stay. The tavernas along the beach including their ‘Callao’ serve beautifully fresh Greek food. We would highly recommend staying at San Antonio Resort Corfu."
