The Chalet is a perfect getaway situated east of downtown Kalamazoo & Western MI University. Only 4 miles off I-94 makes the drive easy from IL, IN, or OH. The indoor pool & hot tub are refreshing any season. Enjoy quality time with friends & family while making lasting memories.

The Chalet is on a lake, however, our guests do not have water rights. You may enjoy the lake from the shoreline but no walking on the lake when frozen nor use when unfrozen.

The property is on 3/4 an acre and all yours to enjoy. We ask that you respect our neighbors with quiet time between 10pm and 8am. We love our neighbors, so make sure that when we return, we will get good reports about our guests! Thank you!

Great accommodations and amenities in a nice area with lots to do. Good and thoughtful hosts. They supplied everything needed to enjoy our stay. Will likely book again. Main bathroom could use updating.

Amazing vacation

This property is amazing! It was such a comfy, cozy home to stay in. The pool room was absolutely spectacular, my entire family loved the pool and hot tub.

Family weekend

I had a professional conference in Kalamazoo and found this awesome home so that the family would enjoy the weekend while I was in session. The home was conveniently 10 minutes from downtown and the kids all loved the pool, it was hard to get them out haha. I would highly recommend Jennifer and her chalet!

Family Spring Break Vacation

Perfect for a family getaway! The pool obviously was the big hit but we also enjoyed the pool table downstairs and the games provided. The hosts have thought of everything for a stay in this house! It was the most well stocked and clean rental we have ever stayed in! It is also close to groceries and restaurants. Communication with the host was prompt for a minor issue. Looking forward to staying there again in the future!

Wonderful property for pool fun with the family!

The hosts have a great attention to detail and prompt communication. Everything a family with young children could possibly need is there. While the pool was the primary draw for us, and the pool is wonderful, the little touches like there being toys, games and children's books available helped keep everybody busy between swimming. The property is close to groceries and restaurants too. We wouldn't hesitate in coming back to this property. One of the best we have stayed at.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in the chalet. Everything was just as advertised and the home was very clean. There was a lot more space than we expected and it was well stocked with all the necessities, which is not very common with most rentals. The location was excellent. It feels like you’re in a remote area tucked away when you’re in the chalet, but it is a very short drive to anywhere you want to go. We had a toddler with us and all the toys were perfect for him. Also, we greatly appreciated the treats that were left for us. We would love to visit again!

Met with family here and it was a great place for all ages! The kids loved the pool and all the available toys. Was a perfect place to catch up with family and let the kids play. Jennifer was an amazing host and we felt right at home!

Beautiful roomy home with everything you would need. Host left several local Michigan food gifts which was an enjoyable surprise. We greatly enjoyed our time in the pool so rarely left the house. Hoping to stay again in the future.

Incredible play to stay

The property was even better than I expected. The thoughtfulness and care the owners take to make it feel like a home away from home is really exceptional. It is comfortable for the entire family to live in and enjoy, and the indoor pool and hot tub are really special. We will be staying here for all future trips to Kalamazoo!

Great winter getaway

This was a great place for a winter getaway with my husband. It was wonderful to have the pool and hot tub to relax and decompress from the chaos of our daily lives. The house was very clean and comfortable. The dozen donuts and coffee were a nice extra touch. Would definitely stay here again and bring the kids.

Relaxing Getaway

What a great place to spend time with family. The chalet had plenty of room and the amenities were great! There were stores and restaurants nearby. And, having an indoor pool and hot tub was an added bonus! The beds were comfortable and we had a lovely view of the woods and lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Home

There were 6 of us here for an educators conference! This property was wonderful! Jennifer was a fantastic communicator, the home was so clean, and everything was just perfect! We will plan on staying here again! The beds were extremely comfortable and all the amenities were exactly what we needed!
