Reviews were misleading as the room was just terrible. The room had a missing TV remote & sink-cabinet and there was plumbing exposed in the room, along with 2 ft of floor trim that wasn't attached to the wall. The room had disgusting red marks around the toilet and there was a dismantled pen on the floor (ink only), so one can only imagine what went on the night before. The front desk person couldn't help me as she was having a hard time warding off the advances of a trucker looking for company. BEWARE!

The man at the front desk is very nice. The hotel room is clean, but the water in the shower does not drain well for room#109. It need to be fixed immediately for the next guest.

Not very convenient location. The hotel was short staffed with only 2 cleaning staff for 74 rooms but everything was ok, credit to the staff

Stayed for two nights. Phone didn’t work in first room. Room changed quickly. Needed to let the water run for several minutes before it got hot. TV input had to be set manually with the physical buttons on the side of the TV. Once input selected, OK to use remote. Literally took 10 seconds or so, but it shouldn’t be that way. Mini fridge and microwave in room, convenient Quiet. Comfortable bed. Breakfast area was crowded so I didn’t try their breakfast as I had limited time. Several fast food restaurants nearby. Quick access to/from I-94. Kyle is very professional and accommodating.

This was a decent property for the cost. Right near the expressway - quiet- super clean- just right for what we needed. We had commencement at Western Michigan and this place is the perfect distance to campus. Would highly recommend . Staff was great too- very helpful and extremely friendly.

Had a great experience. Don't stay at hotels much but it was perfect for what I needed it for. Friendly staff no issues. Clean room and clean lobby. No bad smells. Really spacious bathroom which was nice!

We always check the bedding at hotels. The mattress cover under the main sheet was stained with urine and blood so we removed that immediately. The bath towels were also stained. All linens must not be bleached. We did not realize that the travel lodge was a complete separate building for having coffee and breakfast so we had to walk to the main building. There were a bunch of work trucks parked in the lot that headed to work early morning. There was a lot of beeping and engines roaring. Price was decent but you definitely get what you pay for.

Jessica, I am not sure if your have the wrong hotel but we DO not have a separate lodging area for our guest for breakfast. I am sorry for your inconvenience. Next time you can stay with us and have a much better experience.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and conveniently located. The complimentary breakfast was not great, but also not notably worse than typical for hotels in this price range. We had two problems, however. First, several of the electrical outlets in our room did not work, which I discovered after the first night when I found that my phone had not charged at all. Second, the hot water in the bathroom was never better than lukewarm. I don't know if other rooms had the same electrical problems, but the water issue was apparently widespread.

We didn't get any sleep for the first 3 nights. Screaming, yelling, crying, etc. ALL night!!! We had a king bed which literally took up the whole room. There was barely any room to walk. The comforter was not clean. Yuk.

Several problems with noise. Night staff vacuuming the lobby at midnight. Room next to us awake at 4am. Noise carried between hall ways to rooms.

The stay was pretty good, around the toilet was a little dirty as was the bathroom floor. It was very loud, kids were running all over, late into night. The good things were the staff, bed and pillows were great!

Nice Place!
A few minor issues, like loose toilet seat, and TV mount angle turned down, but clean and very comfortable room, and located in a very close to everything site. Staff was extremely friendly, and breakfast was excellent.

Dirty, bad shape, cramped.
Cramped and dirty. The sheets were dirty, with hair on the pillows. Mold/mildew in the shower, and needs a remodel. Tub has a big chip out of the enamel. Tight space for two beds.

Noise, nudity and no sleep
This hotel was not dirty and it didn't smell bad. Those are the highlights of my stay. The walls are extremely thin, so I heard EVERYTHING, that was happening around me. The neighbors upstairs had a new years eve party, next door fighting all night long. Here's the big one, at 3 am I went down the hall and encountered a naked man standing in the laundry room :/
