Beautiful setting for a family get-away
We loved our stay at Wharepuni. It accommodated our family well, with many bedrooms and space for everyone. The setting was idyllic and the property is conveniently located to Oakura township and local beaches. I definitely will recommend it to others looking for a quiet escape.

Everything we hoped for in our Taranaki get-away
A perfect spot from which to enjoy the beach, have adventures around the Taranaki region or simply hang-out at "home". There was everything we needed for our family of five, with a range of ages and requirements, to have a relaxing and comfortable holiday. Thank you for making it so easy and for the friendly communications. We hope to return soon!

Great little getaway in a great location
Wharepuni was an awesome place to stay. Very roomy, had all the facilities and was close to some amazing attractions. Friendly owners and the communication great.

Country Retreat
Great property, clean and tidy. Very spacious and plenty of room for our family of 6. Location perfect for us and very quiet and peaceful. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t provided for would definitely stay here again

Great property for a big group with kids, plenty of lawn space for kids to play and well equiped bedrooms. Property was clean and homely, with nice touches such as fresh flowers.

Planning our next stay already!
We came to Oakura for a surf trip and the house is perfectly located along great breaks. The property is beautiful and spacious with a big yard and comfortably slept a group of 7. We ate at the Butlers Reef and Black Sand Pizzeria while here and highly recommend. The only downfall to the stay was that the shower temperature is quite finicky but that was minor in the grand scheme of things. Overall we loved our stay and will be returning in the future.

Great location
Bach had everything required for a good stay for family, but only problem that it had no fan or aircon for a summer stay. Made it hard to sleep at nights. Cobwebs around the house, so not as clean as it should be, and ants also. Great outdoor yard for kids to play and a great place to sit outside.
