"This is a beautiful hotel! Happy hour and breakfast was great, room was lovely and quiet and the staff was attentive. My only complaint (and I know they don’t have control) was the guests staying there. There were large groups of kids staying there that were running around with zero supervision; yelling , screaming and rough housing. I’d say their ages ranged from 9-15. When we returned from dinner, we shared an elevator with another couple and the security guard who was extremely agitated. The couple said that the kids were throwing candy off the 2nd floor at them and other guests and the guard said he had apprehended them and once he found their parents, told them they’d be evicted if they didn’t manage their kids. Kudos to you security guard! Again this is no fault of the hotel and their security person was clearly managing the situation. They must have been hosting a large youth event. When we got up to our level, there was candy (skittles) and wrappers all over the ground! Kinda funny in a sense but would not have wanted to be lobbed with an airborne skittle myself! All and all a great stay aside for the bad behavior of some of their guests. "

"This holiday inn is in resident area and is very quiet, decent lobby with high ceiling and bean wood. very good amenities. The receptionist was very friendly and considerate. "

"It was my first time staying at this property and I was very pleased with the hotel. It’s pretty new so the rooms and the building are in fantastic shape. Parking fee was reasonable, bed was comfortable and the room was sparkling clean. The staff was efficient and friendly. I didn’t have breakfast but had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Great food and drinks and friendly waitstaff. Highly recommend!"

"- overnight receptionist was great & welcoming (African American lady) - Room is tired - restroom wallpaper is pealing - tea & coffee in room was very low (1 of each) - Sliding doors to the patio & window is extreme dirty - valet guys were hui g but it took 20 minutes to get my car on Saturday morning. - cleanliness of overall property needs attention. - morning coffee station in lobby was empty & messy."

"Clean spacious room located in the heart of Walnut Creek. Conveniently near restaurants and bars and downtown shopping. Friendly staff and breakfast in included. Theres is valet or self parking on the street but you have to pay the meter "

"Room was a non smoking room. Smelt of smoke so bad i felt like i had a hard time breathing. They only put two pillows on each bed. And gave us one towel for a two adult room with two beds. I knew it wasnt going to be fancy but this was ghetto and disgusting. The front desk was super kind and nice. My check out was at 11am and at 9am housekeeping was knocking on my door bothering me. I will never stay here again. "
