Romantic Hotels & Resorts in Kaikoura Peninsula from AU$174

"Great little hotel. Lovely garden area to sit and have a drink or a cuppa. Only thing I would say is that the rooms were a little small to try and fit 2 suitcases in somewhere. Would stay again. Staff and lovely and welcoming."

"Absolutely stunning view!! The room was decorated beautifully and we enjoyed the homemade shortbread cookies upon arrival. It was fun meeting other guests over breakfast and sharing tips. The town is a ten minute walk downhill for great restaurants and activities. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend."

"Very happy with our stay. Couldn’t fault anything about the accomodation or the host. Highly recommend and would definitely book again"

"Amazing ocean view. Lovely room with good toiletries, nespresso coffee etc. very close to the main town and ‘The Whaler’ pub. Very good Continental breakfast included as well which is a bonus. "

"Great stay, quaint little cottage & the kids thoroughly enjoyed the animal feeding "

"View was amazing and lovely walks close by."

"Perfect for six people. Great location and had everything we needed."

"Very nice stay"

"Amazing views, comfortable seating and beds, lots of space. We enjoyed our stay here. "

"Awesome place. Great hosts "

"Daughter really enjoyed feeding the animals on the farm. We loved our stay but couldn't get on the wifi in the cottage but that was no big issue for us."

"Great place to stay, memorable, plenty of space for the kids to run around and was a lovely way to end our holiday"

"Truly "wacky" experience which was exactly whay we were looking for. Ultra-prepped "room" with all amenities for a prolonged visit. Infortunately we only had one night."

"On the website I thought it was a Tee Pee in a farm paddock. But there are multiple accommodations on the farm so not as private as I thought! The Tee Pee was old & mouldy. The single beds were not suitable for adults. Too short. Even one bed base had mould on it. I lifted up my pillow to find a spider underneath. While styled with cowboy Indian theme it could of been done so much better. Rather tacky & tired. The bathroom was our life saver. It was lovely and only a few meters from the Tee Pee....

"Amazing experience. Even if we weren’t doing anything else in Kaikoura just staying here would have been worth the trip! "

"Yes everything as depicted on the website. Unique fun experience. We would highly recommend to all travellers passing through Kaikoura to stay a night here. "

"Wonderful stay at Cubby House in Kaikoura! Leanne and Richard have created an oasis complete with an amazing view and friendly-furry-4-legged greeters. We traveled in NZ for over 2 weeks and Cubby House was the only place we stayed that had this level of charm, the most amazing coffee machine ever, and a fridge full of wonderful breakfast ingredients. If the opportunity arises, we will certainly be back."
