"Wonderful stay at Cubby House in Kaikoura! Leanne and Richard have created an oasis complete with an amazing view and friendly-furry-4-legged greeters. We traveled in NZ for over 2 weeks and Cubby House was the only place we stayed that had this level of charm, the most amazing coffee machine ever, and a fridge full of wonderful breakfast ingredients. If the opportunity arises, we will certainly be back."

"The room was spotless and clean, really nice location. It was a shame that the pool was closed for the winter on a pair of 22 degree days when its been Spring for a month. I feel like thats something that needs mentioning on the website. We booked this one with the pool in mind and my kids were pretty disappointed that it was closed"

"The wifi was terrible. Not sure if that's because my room was the furtherest away or it's just bad in general. The room itself was nice and the toilets and showers were good. I told them I would be late arriving and they told me where to find the key. Overall the stay was good it was just the wifi that was the issue because I wanted to work from my room so it was kind of important."

"Great cabin - warm, comfortable and generally clean. There was a bit of mould in the bathroom (wetfloor) unfortunately. The staff were fantastic and helpful. The holiday park is lovely. It's a shame the pool/hot pool isn't open a bit later though, especially in the warmer weather (also a shame the hot pools are not free - $20 for 30 minutes). Close to town and affordable! Enjoyed our stay! "
