Big spacious room and very big spacious luxury bathroom, but with very. Skimpy on any extras:
little extras like soap or shampoo or dishwasher liquid available.
Hardly any drops available in the dispenser and toilet paper on last bits.
Located a little away from the bustling district, you can stay quietly. The facility is very clean. I was very happy to find a restaurant nearby that served delicious food.

Hosts Barbara and Tony were very helpful and friendly. Barbara was thoughtful to let us check in a couple of hours early even though check in was not until 2pm. Really appreciated that. Very quiet neighbourhood and peaceful. The sea was not too far away and the view was gorgeous. Clean and comfortable room. Will recommend it anytime.
Check-in swift and informative. Owners were very friendly and recommended eating places for fresh crayfish. Room was a good size, adequate heating/cooling function, bathroom was modern, clean and airy. I don't normally sleep well when i travel, but i felt safe and comfy and had a good night rest after a long day on the road. Will revisit when back in Kaikoura next.

Lovely large bedroom and bathroom with sitting out area. Well equipped kitchen area. All extremely clean and appeared recently decorated. Great location for those happy to be a bit out of town, quiet and great views. Just across road from excellent bar/restaurant (Pier Hotel) and with a further restaurant next door, which we didnt try. Highly recommend and would return without hesitation.
Lovely hosts, clean spacious room, located near the shore far easy walking and enjoyment of the water and wildlife. We stayed three nights and could well have stayed longer if time allowed.
The motel is out of town and very well placed to visit the local seal colony. Our room was spotlessly clean and the motel is managed by a lovely approachable couple. We had a brilliant stay.

Just what I meeded to break up my journey from Blenheim to Christchurch, good sized room, with both a double and a single bed. Very nice walk along the seafront into town for shopping, restaurants and bars. The one downside was the limited number of TV channels.

Close to Kaikoura Peninsula Walkways where we saw hundreds of wild seals in the water or on the rocks. Quiet place with beautiful sea view. We appreciate very much!

A very good stopover for one night prior to an early start next morning. All facilities were good and I had nothing to complain about. Since we had a brief visit I can't really give a more comprehensive review.

View of the beach from our room was great and the hotel is in a very convenient location - we walked to city center easily. Great restaurant is directly across the street. Love that it had a small kitchen w/frig and
microwave.

Overnight stay only but was shown a number of points of interest and restaurants on arrival which was helpful. The apartment was great for the overnight stay and the bed was comfortable. The apartments were a bit far out from the main shopping area but wasn’t a problem as we had the car.

Im sorry the water was turned off. But, as you will have seen the council dug up the road all along the street outside to lay cable for the new internet and did not notify us they would disrupt our water supply. The whole premise and street was disrupted beyond our control
