Antares Homestay is a gem in the heart of the Marlborough wine country. The inn keeper Mandy is wonderful and focused on making guests feel like family. She greeted us and provided a tour of the property and amenities. We stayed in the blue room which was large and quiet. Options for either A/C or enjoying the breezes from the gardens and vineyards. The queen size bed was super comfy. Breakfast was freshly baked croissants, fruit, yoghurt, granola and eggs cooked to order if desired. The B&B had a small kitchen with appliances and fridge for some snacks that we had purchased. The gardens and ponds encourage exploring and walking with a glass of local wine. We also used bikes that were available to explore some of the nearby wineries. We plan to be back in New Zealand in the next year or so and will definitely stay here again! So many wineries to check out, but one that was fantastic and right across the street is Hans Herzog. Highly recommend booking a wine tasting there.

"This is the fourth time we have stayed here and will always be our first choice when we start a holiday in the South Island. So convenient as you enter Kaikoura and it is extremely well laid out inside and out. Seems to be brand new every time we come in it is so clean and appointments so good."
