We enjoyed being able to watch the river as we bathed in the open air bath. Plenty of amenities provided, staff was super friendly and helpful, and room was lovely and spacious. Japanese breakfast was huge and delicious and it was wonderful to try some regional specialities.

We got such a warm welcome to this spa hotel! Super kind and helpfull staff. Huge rooms, very traditional but with all the moderne things you need for a plesant stay. So calm and quiet, huge indoor/outdoor onsen. Some of the staff speak flewent english. Get a rental car from Fukui, such a nice 40 min drive up here. Away from stress and noise in the big city. Would come back again for sure! Recommended!

こちらの宿を初めて利用させていただきました。近隣の宿は スタッフの方が駐車場まで元気にお声がけしながら御出迎えされて 荷物も全て持っておられました。こちらは玄関を掃いてらっしゃった方が出て来られて 「あ、どうぞこちらから。」とだけで 「ようこそお越しになられまして」の心遣いがないなと残念でした。部屋は 昔ながらの建物のようですが 広くて既に布団がひいてあり良かったのですが カーペットや机にごみや汚れが残っていて そちらもすごく残念でした。湯畑の方は お目当てということもあり 楽しみにしていました。石段のお手入れがもう少しされていたら良かったです。山の中で仕方ないのかもしれませんが ムカデやイモムシが大量にいたり葉っぱが沢山落ちていて 良い気持ちにはなりませんでした。お風呂は1番熱いお湯のところだけ入りました。自由に利用できるラウンジも せめてフレッシュジュースや酒類などが置いてあると良いかと。それなりの高い料金を払っているので 水、コーヒーだけでは あまりにお粗末でした。御食事処は あまりの静けさに 驚きました。他のお客さんがおられないのもありましたが 男性スタッフの方が 一品一品運ばれていて 対応はとても素敵でしたが せめて音楽があったり 山中温泉の紹介のテレビでも流れていたらもっと良かったなと思います。食事は 出来立てを頂けたので満足です。大浴場は 朝方利用させていただきました。朝一番だと ほぼ貸切状態でしたが 使用済みのバスタオル入れは 溢れてかえっており いたるところに紙くずが落ちていたり 排水溝にごみが溜まっていたりして 夜間の掃除されてないのは大変残念です。やはり 帰りの御見送り等もなく 帰り道他のお宿のスタッフが5、6人と女将さんが深々とお辞儀と手を振ってらっしゃった姿を見ると 一目瞭然でした。 館内のスタッフの方は 少ないのかとは思いますが せっかくのこどもの日 せっかくのGWなのですから もう少し気配りが行き届く対応をされてはいかがなものでしょうか。

静かでゆっくりできて従業員の方も優しく良かった。 ただ入浴時浴室の入口の戸が人が出入りするたびにギィーギィーと鳴ってたのがとても気になった。この旅館の売りだった露天風呂はどれ位降りなければ解らなかったので高齢者であったため行くのを躊躇しやめた。後からそれに気づきちょっと残念だった。 食事は品数も多く美味しく年配者にとっては量もちょうどよかった。 ゆっくり温泉に入って過ごすには良いところでした。

普通のリーズナブルなホテル

目立つ部屋の汚れもなく寝床は快適でした。露天風呂付きでしたが外の蜘蛛の巣が多少気になりましたが、至って綺麗でした。夕食朝食は普通な感じでしたが、福井感があまりない食材でそこは期待外で残念でした。また、夏休み中で子供が多く大浴場、湯畑露天が騒がしくて、ゆっくり浸かる気にならず部屋の露天で入りました。しかし、部屋の露天風呂でも隣等からの子供の声が騒がしく客層が残念。リーズナブルなホテルもかえって家族連れが泊まり易くなるので、ゆっくりしたいならもう少し高額なホテルにしようと思いました。
