"Wir waren als Familie nur für eine Nacht in der Jugendherberge Lindau, möchten aber die Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft sowie Sauberkeit (vor allen Dingen auch WCs und Duschen) und die wirklich schöne Einrichtung erwähnen. Das Zimmer war wie erwartet sehr schlicht, aber sogar mit Waschbecken und Spiegel ausgestattet (hatten wir gar nicht erwartet).
Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend.

"A really well kept house and property. Our room was large and bathroom was modern. It was very comfortable. Good wifi throughout.
No breakfast option, but you can make use of the kitchen.
The host communicated well. We were asked to make our full payment by bank transfer soon after booking. This may seem odd for people from some countries and cause for concern, but is apparently normal in Germany."

"It’s right in the middle of town. 8min walk to the train station, about 10-12 to the festspiele. The best thing about the place was the staff, especially the one in charge, very friendly, welcoming, if I went back to Bregenz I would only stay here. The walls are a little thin, and there are some things I’d change but overall I liked it a lot. "

A friendly welcome (including welcome drink voucher, with the resulting cocktail delicious), great, varied breakfast, comfortable and quiet rooms and a great spa area this made for a memorable stay. Added bonus is the bar on the lake itself. Free parking with plenty of room and close to many towns and trails across the Bodensee region, and even further into Bavaria if you fancy driving."
