"The hotel is located ideally...it is steps from the train station and a close walk to the old part of town. What threw my wife and me was that we planned to drop off our bags with the bellman so that we could return our rental car at Geneva Airport. However, we learned that not only is there not a bellman, but there is not a front desk person on weekends. We were parked in front of the hotel on a street which does not allow parking trying to communicate with a person in Geneva about how to access our room. Finally, we learned that someone from Base was planning to work that day for an hour starting at 2 pm. Accordingly, we parked the car in a garage, waited for 2 pm and then were able to check in. The property is quiet notwithstanding its location right above the street. It was impeccably clean throughout. had a great shower and comfy bed. I would stay again now that I am familiar with Base's check in procedures....."

Restaurant & breakfast provision was limited, however we knew this ahead of our visit, so not a problem. All in all a very good choice for a stop off if using Geneva airport."
