"This Wyndham Pucallpa charges shuttle pickup from the airport because you book through Expedia. Though on their Wyndham website it shows "Free airport shuttle service." It's really misleading and I will find somewhere else to book next time"

"We had dead mosquitoes in the bed sheets. However, the receptionist was always friendly and helpful. Also, the water isn’t clean, it’s slightly brown. But this is because Iquitos is in the Amazon jungle."

"This hotel lists their location as downtown Puerto Maldonado. Actual location is 20+ minutes outside the town on a dirt road. Impossible to get taxi service to town. The additional trips for food for our Amazon excursions cost 60 soles each way. Driver said price is higher since you have long trip ..."
