A peaceful easy stay for your Southern Utah Getaway!
Built in the 30s and renovated several times through the years, most recently in 2017, this 3 bedroom and 2 bath home is in a town so quiet you can hear alfalfa growing. Walk out the door and you're on the mellow brick road to all Southern Utah national parks and natural wonders. The living room offers space for conversation and relaxing. Wifi is available as well as an HD TV with local stations and Roku so you can stream videos, TV shows, and movies. If you have an Amazon or Netflix account, you sign in with your account and view movies during your stay. A CD player and DVD player are available to use with the TV. Some CDs and DVDs are there to use. The kitchen contains cups, plates, silverware, and many cooking utensils. It offers an electric range, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, and pots and pans. A clothes washer and dryer are also available. One bedroom offers a queen bed. The second bedroom has a queen and a twim bunk bed set. The third bedroom contains a queen bed and a twin bed. There are two hide-a-bed couches in the living room for extra sleeping space. Two bathrooms, one bathroom has a full-sized bathtub and the second bathroom has a stand-up shower. The house sits on 1.25 acres of which about 1/4 is planted with grass and embedded with mature trees. There is an uncovered patio off the back porch with a BBQ grill and long serving table. Groceries: Junction has a General store on Main Street Fuel: Junction has one gas station on Main Street. Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Property was good and Owner was amazing. Outside cleaning can be improved.
The doors left open while checkin. So we are not sure whether somebody was inside also we dont have mobile signal so could not communicate with property owner.
we were very disappointed and unhappy with our stay few items listed are.. not cleaned kitchen unclean refrigerator sink making a horrible noise. unusable microwave, filthy stove burners and oven, uncovered outlets and exposed lite switch and electric boxes, unsafe steps. spider webs and spiders everywhere in broken lite covers, tremendous amount of flys probably due to full trash cans by back porch door. open holes in Ceiling broken and filthy barbaque broken windows unkept Yard with broken down appliances .. the safety and cleanliness and unuseable appliances are very concerning.these are a few things. were not young and our health is not good we saved a long time for this vacation and it was anything but relaxing . Host heatily told me we got a great deal but I ask you at what expence? We have been enjoying this rental company a long time and this is Frist terrible encounter. There is an OPEN complaint investigation. RETHINK...
Great communication from the owner. The property is an older property with to a of charm and character. The check in and out process was easy. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks guys!!
We stayed here on the way home from a big road trip with our kids. It was like staying at Grandma’s house when you were a kid. It was an older home, but very homey. The owner swung by to make sure everything was okay for us. And told us how to contact him if we needed anything. Very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay. Could use a bigger T.V. but everything we needed was there. Nice to come home and take a shower and do some BBQ'n after being at the lake all day. better than livin in a tent. Thanks agin the stay was very nice
This was a great little place to stay while visiting the nearby National Parks. We really enjoyed ourselves and the host was extremely conscientious and pleasant. We would stay again if in the area.
This house reminded me of my summer family cottage style vacations when I was a kid. We would definitely stay here again. The surrounding yard is huge and there's a nice picnic setup just outside the kitchen door. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet, and the house is far enough from US Hwy. 89 that the noise of infrequent passing trucks was hardly noticeable. We slept great here! 100X better than a motel at the same price!
We had an amazing weekend ice fishing and each day we got to come home to this quaint little property. If you're looking for luxury, this may not be your place but it is quiet, clean, and has everything you need for a great stay. They go above and beyond with stocking the property with the things you will need. Owners are friendly and check in to make sure everything is going well. This home fits the quiet little town perfectly!
Feels like visiting grandmas house in this cute vintage home
My adult sisters and I stayed overnight on our way to another destination, and it was such a cute, roomy home. Clean, big yard, cute rustic shed on the side yard. Right on the Main Street. It is an older home, so expect older furnishings and fixtures. I personally think the aged furniture added to its charm. The owner is kind and accommodating and lives nearby. Take a walk through this small town and enjoy the historic buildings and homes. We took a walk to the gas station for a soda and admired the old trucks with built in houses on top at the south end of town. We really enjoyed our time.
We picked this property because we didn’t want to stay in a hotel, and they we are accommodating and allowed us to bring our dog. It also had plenty of beds for our five children and room to lounge and eat. The big yard was fun and spacious enough for the kids to play with our dog. It had all the other basic stuff we needed for our stay.
It is centrally located between big rock Candy Mountain, Paiute Lake, and Butch Cassidy‘s café, where we ate several meals. The price is very affordable. Don’t expect five stars here, but if you don’t mind a cozy experience like staying with your aunt Rose, then it’s fine. 😍
